The view from the balcony could have been improved and could have been a bit more spacious. However, this wasn't a deal breaker as we mainly used the balcony to dry our clothes.

The staff were amazing. From check in to check out, all of the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were given recommendations on the nicest beaches to visit and best restaurants in the area. They even made dinner reservations for us at the popular restaurants. On arrival, we were given a complimentary drink and after check out, we were offered a spare room to shower and get changed before our late night flight. Both of these we thought were really nice touches. The location was perfect if you want to be based in the centre of Skiathos town. We were minutes away from restaurants, cafes and shops, but our room was completely sound proofed so you wouldn't even know. The pool was a nice addition to have a dip after exploring the town. Breakfast was delicious.

Its location is just perfect with a lovely pool with sunbeds and cocktail bar right on the main pedestrian road. The quality of build and rooms is exceptional and it is run by the owner who is always available. The staff could not be more obliging with genuine friendship on show and advice on everything from meals to booking sunbeds in advance at the busiest of beach clubs. Especially Vivi? & Chris who deserve medals 😀 Ps breakfasts are exemplary

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bourtzi Hotel in Skiathos from September 10th to 24th, and I can confidently say it surpassed all my expectations. It had been over 24 years since my last visit to Skiathos, and the island is even more beautiful than I remembered. From the moment I arrived, the warm and friendly staff made me feel at home. They went above and beyond to ensure my holiday was perfect, making restaurant reservations and arranging taxis on my behalf. On my last day, I faced a minor issue with my phone that held my boarding pass. The hotel manager was incredibly diligent, personally contacting the necessary businesses to find a solution. This level of service truly impressed me! Bourtzi Hotel boasts a modern design and an ideal location in the heart of Skiathos Town, just a short distance from the port. This central position allowed easy access to shops, restaurants, and Megali Ammos Beach, making it an excellent base for exploring the island and nearby Skopelos and Alonissos. The hotel itself features 38 contemporary guest rooms equipped with all modern amenities. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool, complete with sunbeds, and the stylish cocktail bar along the main pedestrian road. The relaxing atmosphere and personalized service contributed to an unforgettable holiday experience on this beautiful island. I highly recommend Bourtzi Hotel to anyone visiting Skiathos! The hospitality and service provided by the staff truly earned its reputation, and I can't wait for my next visit. Thank you for an exceptional holiday!

Only downside is difficulty getting a sun bed round the pool. All beds are nabbed by 8.00-8.30. Not a problem for us as we're beach people but occasionally you just want a quiet day at the hotel.

Dimutris is brilliant. So helpful. Booking sunbeds, beach restaurants, taxis literally anything you need. All the staff were super-friendly and helpful. Going back next year.

Absolutely nothing apart from storm Daniel

Absolutely everything - Dimitris went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We arrived the day of the storm. Dimitris made sure we were kept safe fed and watered during the curfew. Nothing was too much trouble for him booking restaurants reaervjng sunbeds etc etc etc - All The staff were amazing especially Vivi on reception and parima “who worked her socks off” this was our first time in Skiathos definatley won’t be our last and would definitely stay at the Bourtzi again. 👍🏼

The one thing, and I didn't want to mention it to the lovely staff at the time, was that the Air Con wasn't quite firing on all cylinders. We had it knocked down to 16 but it never quite seemed to get that cold. Kept the room just bearable enough given the lovely 31/32 degrees weather we had whilst there and subsequent balmy evenings.

Been wanting to stay here for a while and decided what the heck this year, so booked it. Perfect location for being in the town. The staff are just utterly lovely. Nice modern and Boutique in the town Centre. Pool is spot on and nice chairs/beds. Breakfast is the best ever, so much to choose from.

Everything was amazing, especially the staff. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants and beaches and what to visit. They were very friendly and helpful. It was very clean and the location was perfect, right in the centre of Skiathos Town. The pool area was relaxing and the breakfast delicious.
