The sunbeds of the hotel at the beach are for the hotel customers, but there are people using them and they are not staying at the hotel or they are not consuming anything from the hotel bar. They are just occupying the sunbeds and the real customers of the hotel cannot find a sunbed. And noone from the hotel is keeping an eye on that matter. We had to get up early and reserve our sunbeds so we will not be left out. This was an issue we didnot like…

The location is amazing, right at the start of Golfen Beach. There are sunbeds in front of the hotel that you can use. The sea is very nice, clean. Our room was at the back side and it had a balcony, a small kitchen, AC. It was ok, not bad. But the hotel is old, needs to be renovated. We enjoyed that it was right at the beach. There is a tavern just next to the hotel, Krambousa. We had all our dinners there, the food was fantastic.

When we got to the room the floors were wet. The bathroom is small. I understand it’s Europe, but it was small. The key for our room was MIA when we arrived. On the morning of our checkout day at 9am we were woken up by the maid. No knock, just was about to come right in. She apologized, but I thought why didn’t they wait for us to turn in our key to know the room was cleared to clean? The internet connection was not the greatest 🙁

Location was great. You could easily walk to shops and restaurants.

We liked everything

A heart place for us to go every year, even twice in a year. The owner, Gregory is a very kind and friendly host, and it is a pleasure to see him every time. We like so much this place that we even stay in the same room if available. For us is like the second home. Cleanliness, coziness, kindness, close to beach (with private beach) and one of the the best taverna in Skala Potamias. Big thank you for your hospitality!

It was an unforgettable stay, I had to sleep wearing all the clothes I had with me, the temperature in the room was 16 degrees Celsius. It was a disastrous stay and I will not recommend anyone to come and stay with you.

I was great. Better than I expected. I really appreciated we could use the beach with no limits, we realized that was very useful for us, even if we didn't planed and we didn't look exactly for this utilities before. it was an advantage that we discovered later on. big plus for this.

very close to the beach staff was welcoming with good capacity of problem solving not much noise at the room side they had a DJ booth at the entrance and putting music when we arrived at night Wi-Fi was good (was next to the antenna with the room)

Air conditioner was making a loud noise. Could not sleep during the day. The shower was leaking water, which meant the bathroom floor was full of water, which caused a hazard to slip and get hurt.

The cleaning lady disturbed us all the time she had her phone and water in our fridge and she annoyed us with her words and moves in case of we didn’t reply her she annoyed us too much. The room was stinking and smells so bad basically we couldn’t stayed in our room every 15 minutes we had to parfum to the room the bed was dirty with body hairs and dirts. We paid little bit more than the equivalent hotels for comfort but it was horrible

When I booked - on line it said wheelchair accessible - left message on system to make sure we got a disability accessible room to be sent message that there were steps on the room we booked& he would put us on the ground . The office had steps, the room had steps & no one assisted us. The room was not on the ground floor, but semi basement, the shower was mouldy, the kitchenette was old & some of the cupboards were broken, the couch was broken. No dishwashing soap. Told we had to buy beach towels as we were not allowed to take the hotel’s towel to the beach. When I raised this with the owner, he was rude & told me that I should have known to bring our towels!! There was no mention on Booking.com that we had to provide our own beach towels. No tea or coffee provided. Also, pieces of timber missing in the bathroom- photo attached

the room was not clean, it smelled moldy and had mold in many places, also the bathroom was not clean and there was no hot water no matter how long we waited and finally when I went to open the air conditioner the remote control had no batteries. That's all!
