Everything and nothing not to like, from the moment we arrived Alex and his team made us feel welcome and completely at home, with every attention to detail not to mention the amazing rooms that the pictures do not do justice to. The rooms are to my mind, and I have travelled extensively of a 5 star quality we will certainly be returning on our next visit to the island

Beautiful cozy room with superb breakfast dedicated service right in front of the room. Super comfortable shower and very good king double bed and matress. Huge swimming pool just around room corner with comfy sunbeds, practically all for us.

The only downside was that there was no hot water in our room, which was a bit of an inconvenience.

We really liked the entire property – it’s beautifully designed, stylishly furnished, and everything feels new. We stayed during a quiet period with no events, so it felt very peaceful, which we appreciated. The pool is especially convenient and never crowded. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They organize events twice a week – unfortunately, we weren’t there at the right time to experience them, which is a pity.

Our stay at Black Amber boutique hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The modern suite we stayed in was spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean, offering the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Waking up to their impeccable breakfast each morning was a highlight—fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully curated with local Greek flavors. The pool area was equally impressive—large, clean the ideal spot to unwind under the sun. Every detail of our stay was handled with care, making it clear that guest experience is their top priority. We can’t recommend this place enough and will absolutely be returning. Black Amber boutique hotel is a true oasis. Bravo to the Owner and his team for creating such a magical escape!

Everything was perfect!

Amazing experience. Beyond the beautiful pool, gorgeous suites and lavish it was the Owner and the Staff that made our stay a truly exceptional experience. All our requests were handled promptly, effortlessly and they all went above and beyond making our vacation one to remember. Super clean rooms with comfortable beds (best sleep ever) modern bathroom and served delicious freshly cooked breakfast overlooking the beautiful gardens. Extremely conveniently located near several beaches and the town. We are so sad to leave we will miss being taken care of and pampered but we will be back to Black Amber!!! We made great friends there. Fantastic experience 10 star rating!!!

The location was just a few minutes' walk from both the beach and the center of the island. The owner and staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome. The breakfast was excellent: simple, yet full of fresh, flavorful ingredients, including homemade jams from their own lemon and orange trees, and watermelon from the island. The room was spotless and beautifully furnished, combining modern comfort with authentic charm.

That we didn’t stay for longer

The rooms were lovely and spacious with a nice shower and separate toilet, the bed was unreal and we had such a great nights sleep. The tunes around the pool were a really good selection and the swimming pool itself was deep and large - so nice to swim in. The staff were brilliant at Black Amber, Lance & Igor were really fun and Zaina so helpful. Thank you to Alex for breakfast. Breakfast was tasty, egg choices, yogurt and honey, toasties, fresh fruit. We were pleased and bellies were full every morning. The hotel reviews say it’s a bit out of town, at first it seems this way but you can walk it within 15mins and €8 taxi isn’t too bad for a lift back into town. Next door to the hotel has a hire company where you can get a bike for €4 per day, or we hired a scooter to tour around. They have a variety of different vehicles. A supermarket is at the end of the road as is some nice taverns.

We had a fantastic stay! The room was beautiful, facilities were amazing, breakfast was served on the patio by order every morning and was delicious. Lars and Igor went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay, offering recommendations and the car when we didn’t want to walk - they definitely made our holiday! We found the walk to the centre very easy, but also hired bikes from next door which was very convenient. We will be back !

We were a couple. This is new hote with 8 rooms. Staff and owner are amazing. They are honest, helpful and smiling. Close to center(10 min walking) but near the hotel there are many restaurants as well. Breakfast is tasty. Strongly recommend.
