Our stay at Beach Suite Syrma in Milos was nothing short of magical. The place was impeccably clean and beautifully designed, perfectly blending comfort with authentic Cycladic charm. The beach—just outside the suite—was absolutely stunning and felt like our own private paradise. What truly made the experience exceptional was the warm hospitality. The staff went out of their way to help us, especially with our heavy bags, and their kindness made us feel instantly welcome and at home. Everything about our stay was peaceful, picturesque, and unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!

Nothing really.

Best sunset of the island. Waking up and having your first cup of coffee to that view is amazing. You can take a dip in the water immediatly. The spot is also very close to many other popular spots of the island. Owner George and his wife were so lovely abd helpful. I missed already

The room and the location is gorgeous! Could not ask for better. It really felt like a dream! I will note, we also rented the unit next door from another host, and it was also absolutely lovely but about 1/2 the cost. Not sure why this one was so much more. We didn't have any personal contact with the host, which for some travelers might be preferable, but we would have appreciated a bit of info or welcome to the area. All in all, really a fantastic space on an amazing part of a beautiful island.

We just wished there was parking at the property. The available parking was quite a walk from the propertg itself. This was the only thing that would have mad ethe stay perfect. 🙂

Absolutely loved the beautiful location. The patio is on the ocean, perfect for a morning swim. The house was really clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with a small fridge, pod coffee maker and 2 plate stove. What a spectacular spot! We loved everything about our stay.

There was some construction work going on in the adjoining buildings. It was just prior to the opening of the season though so it was completely understandable as the owners were preparing the villas for the season.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. The sound of the waves at night and the view were incredible. The place was very very comfortable. Hosts were easily contactable. Even had friendly cat come and visit which was lovely

it’s a bit of a rough walk from the road to the spot- about 150 meters where you have to carry everything over uneven terrain. no instructions on how to find the place, either- but when you do, settle in, it’s lovely!

There were several related families staying in the other houses—with more than a dozen children. While it was perfect for them, and I am happy they had a perfect spot, it made for a less enjoyable stay for us—we were hoping for a quieter location. Also it would be helpful to know that you will need to use a cart to bring luggage to the house (you cannot drive on road to house)—definitely doable, just good to know in advance.

The house was very nice—comfortable bed, well equipped. The location is picturesque and could be perfect, depending on who is staying in the other houses.

We were not told prior but you have to walk over 100 metres of rock, sand and water to get to this place. We had lots of luggage so ended up packing a small bag and leaving our suitcases in the hire car on the road. The owner later came with a wheelbarrow to help with luggage so it is possible but a prior warning would have saved a lot of hassle. Its a lovely spot but people all around it’s not a private stay.

If you don’t plan on renting a car and want to explore the island, I don’t recommend this property. It is an isolated area and was frustrating to try and get transportation as we did not rent a car. The cost of transfer added up very quickly. There’s no type of reception so messaging the host provided us with the car company to use, but we did not have a phone plan to be able to call, so after a while I finally found the number to WhatsApp the transfer company but it was challenging. We also sent request to check in between 2-3 which was confirmed, but then waited 30 minutes upon arrival for someone to show up since we didn’t know which unit was ours (check in instructions State someone would be there upon arrival). The host did respond timely and was kind plus provided us updates but the host was not the same person as the owner who was meeting us. As many other reviews state, it’s not easy to find at first and you have to walk a bit with your luggage on gravel because cars cannot go past a certain point. If you don’t plan on leaving or do plan to rent a car though, this place will be an exceptional experience for your stay in Milos

Being right on the water in a fishing village is a unique experience you will not find in a hotel or resort. Falling asleep to the sound of the water and the views were amazing. The unit itself is very up to date, clean and modern with a kitchen available.

It is a little bit in an isolated place, so plan ahead before coming if you want to drive a car or book transfers. Food delivery in the location is a little bit challenging. Make sure to have some cash because the signal is a little weak so most of the time the portable credit card swipe machine are not working.

If you are looking for a peaceful place then this is the place to consider. It is something traditional but with modern amenities. It is a nice place to chill away from the city.

It was absolutely perfect! It would be difficult getting luggage in for the elderly or physically handicapped.

The Syrma is located in a fishing village with beautiful views of the sea. It was so peaceful to hear the ocean waves from our room. The room was clean and decorated nicely. We didn’t want to leave!
