First of all, the owners are good people! Maria is amazing. Then, apartment is spotless clean, functional and very well located. You have silence during the night in the middle of Platanias !

The bathroom lacked soap, but that was easy to fix. The rest of the amenities were readily available.

Amazing, spacious place, exceptionally clean, located conveniently right near the center of Platanias. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming and even treated us to some local cuisine on a couple of occasions.

The apartment was clean and the towels and sheets were changed every 2 days and they washed as well the floor. The owner has offered us on a daily basis home made cookies.. my kids loved that. Location is very good, the apartment is very big and spacious. Exactly what I was looking for travelling with my kids.

The location was amazing for the purpose of our trip and upon arrival we we greeted very enthusiastically showing us around the stay. The owner was extremely friendly and made sure everything was very clean consistently. The air-conditioning worked amazing especially when it was super hot. Close to the bus station, beach and food is available everywhere.

Maria, our host, was amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed, and provided us with self-made lemon juice, and even stuffed paprika for lunch once (I guess we looked starved ;) )

Great place to stay. Definitely the biggest added value is Maria's aunt who always greets you in the morning and treats you with local goodies. A great starting point to visit all the best beaches of Crete.

Sometimes poor internet connection

Great location in a quiet area, close to main street and walking distance to the beach. Big, spacious apartment with 2 balconies. Very clean, the host is making cleaning every day. Maria, the host is a very friendly person. She helped us in every request. We received almost every day something home made tasty bite from her. Our little boy the same. I can recommand this place for everyone.

Nothing . Everything was great . I tried to write more above in the section of what I liked but Booking wouldn’t let me write more so I’m just going to add here that we were also 5 minute walk from beautiful Melina beach . Everything was very close and convenient . Maria was so sweet she was even crying when we were saying goodbye we will definitely be back to her apartment. We are back home Now and missing her already !

Everything from the very start to the very beginning . We arrived in the evening and Maria , the owner of the apartment arranged for taxi to pick us up from the airport . She was waiting for us when we arrived , and gave both me and my daughter massive hugs . She was extremely welcoming and took us right to our apartment . Right from the very start we knew we found our Greek “ yaya “ ( grandmother ) . She is older but super sprightly and always makes sure every guest is happy and comfortable. When we arrived , she left nice chilled bottle of white whine in the fridge for us . She did the same for my friend and her girls who stayed in the neighbouring apartment ( she left rose wine for them ) . Maria and her husband are lovely , warm hearted people who treated us more like a family than guests and tourists . Every day Maria would bring us something like fresh water melon , cakes or tomatoes from her garden . She also brought us raki and olive oil . Even though she doesn’t speak any English at all , and we didn’t speak any Greek , somehow we always ended up having a lovely conversation with her , using our hands ( which was at time hilarious ) . She invited me to her house for lemonade and cake one morning and I managed to learn some Greek ( haha ) and learnt a lot about her and her family . Such a sweet lady . Her apartments are lovely , airy , bright with kitchen that has pretty much everything you need . The bathroom is big and has plenty of space to put your things up on the shelves . Air con works beautifully. Bedroom is big with lot of storage and she even has a sowing kit , fan and hair dryer in the drawer there . It’s super comfortable . We also had little balcony facing quiet gardens and patio facing the little street . Beds are very comfortable with orthopaedic mattresses so even people who have back problems like me would sleep sound . Location could not be more perfect .we were right in the centre of Platanias , surrounded by shops ,supermarkets, taverna

The apartment was perfectly clean from the first day we came and were cleaned every day of our staying. Clean bed sheets and towels always. Property is placed on perfect location, very nice beach is close, also main road. The hosts are beautiful people, Maria is the nicest person we met during our trip. All the best, 10/10.

Nothing comes to my mind, we had everything we needed.

Very nice hosts, apartament was cleaned every day, the owner gave us every day a small snack (fruit, cookies, pie), we received a bottle of wine upon arrival. Hosts live in adjacent building, so there was no problem to get and return the key. It is apparent that they care about their guests. Apartament was equipped with everything we needed, we had two terraces, one in the front to sit and enjoy the evening, one at the back to hang and dry clothes. There was terrace on rooftop to observe sunset, beatiful view on the sea, mountains, and Platanias and then observe stars in the sky. Apartament was very close to the main street with lots of restaurants, supermarkets, beach is located 600m away, good location, at quiet small street without noise, people are rarely walking this street.

* Wifi was not working most of our stay (5 out of 7 days). The landlady said it was a problem in Platanias, but everywhere else we visited, internet was working just fine... * We had to pay hotel in cash (no card accepted) * Landlady did not know any english, so hard to communicate * Cleaning would happen even when we were at home and did not want to be disturbed. It was not possible to tell her to come back later, she would always insist to clean when she came. Also several times, she took away pillows and blankets while cleaning, leading to a shortage and to our kids having to sleep with towels or similar. We would ask her the next day to bring back the blankets and pillows. Still, the same thing happened several days that we stayed there.
