Such a beautiful family run business, they were always so happy to greet you, help with booking restaurants and organise transfers. The pictures don’t do it justice! The pool was so lovely to sit around all day, location was great- a short walk into the main town and the daily housekeeping was such a nice touch!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, so happy we chose here, the photos don't do it justice. Our room was amazing, beds and pillows so comfy and a beautfiul balcony. Lovely pool, top service, so friendly! Location was perfect.

Such an amazing hotel that has exceeded all our expectations. It‘s calm, clean, the rooms are beautiful and super clean. It‘s a family-owned hotel and the owner even picked us up and returned us to the port. The whole hotel area is very relaxing with a stunning view of Chora and very friendly staff and owners.

Small calm family driven hotel, good for couples. Very friendly staff! They helped us with everything we needed. Very close to the city centre. Nice pool area. Due to being on top of a hill it had a very good view from the room/balcony of the island and the sea (We had a room on the second floor). Two days we walked down to the beach (about 1-1,5km) but took a well worth 15€ taxi home that was definitely worth it. It also goes buses from the port and Milapotas beach that are cheaper, but was nice to take a taxi the whole way. Breakfast is not included but can be bought very cheap for 6-8 €. Very tasty. There is tho allot of small nice and cheap breakfast spots 150-200m from the hotel. Very close to a good supermarket also. The room had a very good AC that was needed when it was 30 degrees outside

Was a great location, close to town but not too close to hear the night time noise. Room was big enough with a great balcony. Clothes line a d pegs just outside for your wet clothes and towels to dry. Pool was beautiful and comfortable lounges to sit by it. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Really liked the make up cloth in the bathroom. Food was great as well.

Nothing - everything was perfect

Had an amazing time at Avanti - wish we stayed longer than two nights! The rooms were clean/tidy and serviced daily, beautiful pool area (towels provided) with great music, bar and snacks available. Breakfast was simple but delicious (recommend the omelette and freddo coffee). The property is really well maintained and cared for. It’s a more relaxing vibe which is exactly what we were after. It’s around a 6 minute walk to the centre of town and is located on a slight hill but it’s really not that steep and is an easy walk up/down. Katerina and her family were so welcoming and hospitable at all times. I’d recommend Avanti to anyone coming to Ios and hope to come back one day. Thanks for an amazing stay 🙂

The bathroom had a bit of a smell

The staff were very nice and accomodating. We felt very welcomed throughout our stay. The pool was amazing and the views were incredible. We couldn’t believe we had this view from the hotel. The staff organised a taxi for us when we needed to get back to the port. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

One of our rooms was a 2 bedroom however there were no doors between the bedrooms. Also as the key was needed to have electricity, the fridge turns off while you aren’t in the room.

Amazing location, super close walking distance to the main village town and also to local transport. The pool area was amazing to have and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was lovely to have a balcony too! Great to have the rooms made up each day also and the staff were friendly.

This hotel exceeded all expectations . The room was lovely and modern, the pool was very large for the size of the hotel and there were plenty of seats and beds outside for everyone, never feeling crowded. The staff were fantastic and very accommodating. The hotel is a five minute walk into town and has amazing views. Would 10/10 recommend.

For some reason the hotel didn’t feel like it had much atmosphere, maybe playing some quiet music around the pool may have changed that. It was perfect for our short stay and great value for money - however would potentially stay else where if looking for more of an atmosphere for a longer duration.

Great location, and family run hotel which you can tell they put a lot of pride into, it was very clean had nice areas to lounge. Very attentive.
