Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe view from our balcony. Some staff were rude, don’t know if this was due to a language barrier. Food was mediocre, doesn’t really cater to inter-nationalities.
Lovely modern rooms. Good location. We also got upgraded on arrival. Good price. Very clean.

BelgiumThe variety of breakfast was amazing, excellent quality and taste. The staff at the breakfast hall were always smiling despite the heavy workload and crowd waiting to be seated. In general, the staff was very polite and ready to help. We appreciated the warm welcome when we arrived very early in the morning (round 8.30 since we took the night boat from Piraeus). We were offered breakfast and then towels in order to use the swimming pool or the sea until our room was ready. The reception also provided very good suggestions on restaurants.

RomaniaThe bed is very uncomfortable and small. After we complained about the matress being very uncomfortable, they added another coconut matress(which is very bad, it feels like you are sinking in) on top of another coconut matress, which was on top of the matress. The second time I went to complain about it, I asked them to remove both coconut matresses, then the bed was fine to sleep in. I find the comfort of the bed to be very important, as you don't want to return from vacation with backpain. We had lunch at their restaurant, and the food is below average. Sunday night there was a DJ in front of the hotel gate, who was playing extremly loud music (like we were in a club) which I found very disturbing, as we were with our 3 month old child, and there was no way into the hotel, but passing near the extremly loud music. You could hear it from our room as well, with all the windows closed. They claim that they have a gym, but actually there is a small room with very few equipment and you can't go at your convenience, you have to book it. The massage was too expensive for what was offered. There is no door at the bathroom, just glass doors for the toilet and the shower, which gives you almost no privacy.
We appreciated that they let us check in as soon as we arrived, which was 10 a.m. The location is great as it is across the sea and half an hour walk from the old city. We also enjoyed the pools. Breakfast is various and pretty good. The cleaning ladies were very nice.

AustraliaThe food and drink offer. The Breakfast was boring, the dinner buffet outright awful. The poolside service was slow and the quality of drinks were also subpar. The f&b department in general didn't seen to be able to hold up the same standard as the rest of the hotel.
The location was absolutely amazing. Close to everything. The reception, spa and housekeepung staff was friendly, not intrusive and very helpful. It felt as if you are staying with friends.

The rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures, very clean room and hotel, room with all amenities and great matress. We had a free room upgrade which was.much appreciated. The hotel is on the beach with a big veranda overlooking the sea....the pools are big and spacious area around them, which is difficult to find in other hotels around the area. Walking distance to the city centre is around 30 minutes, for us that wasnt trouble because it was less crowded. The breakfast buffett was big, with great variety, it covers all tastes. Highly recommended.

United KingdomNone of these were a huge issue, but just some comments that people may find useful. The quality of the bacon and sausages at breakfast was poor. The pool is really cold (I understand why), but it can be a bit off-putting for toddlers and my 2 year old didn't really want to get in it on some days. Not sure if this was just in October, but the sea view balconies do not get sun at any part of the day, which can make drying clothes difficult. Sauna, steam room and jacuzzi is an extra charge. Asked if my room was going to be empty and whether I could therefore check out late (my flight arrived at 10pm and my flight departed at 10pm). Despite the room being empty, I still had to pay an extra €50 euros to stay until 5pm, it would have been more if I wanted to stay later than that.
Great hotel for kids. They have inflatables, buckets, balls etc at the pool for them to use, and also some at the private beach. There is also a playground that is shaded by a net so it isn't too hot. Quite a lot of options at breakfast. The a la carte menu at the pool bar is fairly reasonably priced. Majority of staff are friendly. Really close to the beach, and you get one set of towels for the pool/beach and another set for showering. 20-30 minutes walk to Old town, but plenty of bars and restaurants along the way. Supermarket next door which is cheaper than the ones on the walk to Old town. Had a complimentary 15 minute massage voucher on arrival (although I think that was solely to drum up business in October) and a bottle of wine in the room. There is a gated car park at the back of the hotel, although suspect this may be overcrowded in summer months.
