The only less than perfect point is that a highway divides from beach and must go under a short underpass but it is very well lit and clean

The entire experience was fantastic. The owner is the best we have ever met. Next time we visit Crete, we will definitely stay in this place again.

There is nothing to dislike. If you want a more hectic nightlife, then go a couple miles up the road towards malia.

We have been visiting this hotel for many years. Tony and his family are very welcoming . The apartments are clean and quiet. You are able to use the pool in the apartments nextdoor. Close to the beach, supermarkets and lots of restaurants. Family location, quiet area very safe and welcoming. There are so many quality restaurants and takeaways nearby we never cook in the apartment. Fabulous relaxing break.

Very nice place. Very nice family. Very clean and everything was perfect. The rooms are perfectly isolated. No noise. Not so far from the beach. If you are missing something here, then something is wrong with you☺️ It can't be better. 10 out of 10 from me. Thank you very much for everything.

The rooms are located right above the main road, so when the balcony door is open, it can get a little noisy. However, the rooms are very well isolated, so when all is closed everything is good. (We also realised soon enough that no matter where you stay, it’s going to be a bit noisy if there is any road near, because in Crete many people drive quads and scooters, which are just noisy by default)

Our stay at Astir studios was great, the rooms were clean and cleaned regularly, a gorgeous beach was a 5min walk away and host Antonio and his mother were eager to make everything as enjoyable as possible :))

Antonio and his mother Zoe Zoe couldn't do enough for you, I arrived at the hotel 1 O'clock in the morning and Antonio was waiting for me to let me in. Such lovely people , if I go again I will book Astir Studios.

We had to change room half way our stay due to our room not being available.

The property was well managed by Andoni and his mother. The property was well located close to the beach and supermarket 2 minutes away from the hotel.

The hospitality was at highest level! Host was making sure we feel good, everything is working and nothing bothering us. Location of the apartment is very good, local super market is nearby and beach is only in a few minutes walk, same as the main street with shops and restaurants, bars. Room was being freshened up daily.

There is nothing to dislike

These apartments exceeded expectations, I cannot describe them other than to say amazing. Toni and his mum were so kind and caring, so knowledgeable about the island, the breakfasts.....what can I say.. beautiful home cooked food beyond delicious. There is no way I can rate this other than to say 20 out of 10 don't be put off by the cheap price we have stayed at 5* apartments that are not this good..

The room is nice and clean, the owner gave me the chance to choose it. Always clean and neat, good location, view to the sea, very closed to the sea. The owner very nice and helpful, customer and action oriented.

I booked this apartment since it advertised a washing machine, and I was running out of clean clothes after 3 weeks of travel. The first morning I asked where it is located and was told that they don't have a public washing machine. Quite upset, since this was the reason why I choose this apartment. Strange explanations, that they offer a laundry service (correct, but not the same as a washing machine) and that the greek words for washing machine and dishwasher would be the same and that they meant a dishwasher. I said that the lack of this facility would reduce my rating, and I was told that I tried to blackmail them. Nobody has ever said that to me before in over 60 years, quite insulting. And it is not true, since I never asked for anything in compensation to give them a good rating. If you make a mistake, accept it and go on but don't blame the customer/guest for it. He obviously called booking.com and then finally admitted to his mistake but kept on complaining about my behaviour, even when I left. He offered 2 solutions which I did not accept since they would have meant accepting things or service for a better rating, exactly what he accused me off before. I checked out the same morning, preferring to lose the money for the already paid second night than to deal with him any longer. Never had anything like this happen to me in Greece before. Fortunately, no issues with any of my further bookings in the following 3 weeks. Just as a side note. 2 weeks later, it still mentioned that they have a washing machine on the booking site.

Arrived late. Nice reception that night.
