The bathroom, at least for my room, was very tiny, with a sink so small that reminds me of the airplane bath.

The host was great! Thank you BOSS, for the stake! The cat was friendly and the figs quite good.

The best thing about Guesthouse Arsenious it is its location; it is upper in the hills, away from the heat and from all the business of the touristic area. You are literally only a few minutes away from the first Meterora Monastery, but being at the Guesthouse Arsenious, on my balcony, from where I could see some of the Meteora Rocks and the wineries around us, it felt so peacefully, plus the evening breeze of the evening made the evening more great. The guesthouse has a very large terrace patio outside, plus each unit has its own balcony, and if you have children, you have lots of space for them to us outside. The breakfast was plenty to keep us full until late evening. Having the breakfast right there and leaving a few minutes before 9, we were able to see the monasteries before all the tour busses arrived. I do recommend the place to all those that are seeking peace and very relaxing place for their vacation.

The place with the best view I've ever been to. Arsenis is a great host, very welcoming. The rooms are clean, the place is quiet with a panoramic balcony with a breathtaking view. If you ever plan visiting Meteora, you will not regret choosing this place!

Guesthouse is very good with nice hosts, you have all you need to visit the Meteora monasteries. Main plus is its location, about half way up from the city to monasteries. The view from the room is fantastic, you see the whole valley and mountains where monasteries are located on.

There was some kind of weed whacker sounds through many of the waking hours. They have an entire olive grove to take care of, or perhaps it was a neighbor. Either way, it was still worth it!

Great location near Meteora monasteries. Great value and the owner is very friendly “Hello, boss!” and helpful. His mother is also very kind and they send you off with sweets (hard candies and loukoumi) before you head out the door for the day. The room was clean and comfortable and our view from our balcony over the valley was incredible and peaceful.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Guesthouse Arsenis. The owners were very friendly and helpful, giving lots of suggestions about things to do in Meteora and other parts of Greece. As a result, we visited several places that were not on our radar. We liked that Guesthouse Arsenis was not in the middle of the Kalabaka tourist area, so it was quieter and parking was not a problem.

The location was excellent: picturesque views from the room, easily accessible by car, close enough to the nearest town and the monasteries of Meteora. We loved the peace and quiet of this hillside Guesthouse, ideal for people who are looking for a place to relax and unwind. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly, gave us useful information about the area, what to see, where to eat, etc. This was our second time in Guesthouse Arsenis and we hope to return soon!

The hostel owner is a delightful person whose family has been in the area for generations! He has a great custom map of the area, highlighting paths and suggesting ideal ways to see different monasteries. My sister and I got the breakfast, which was a rustic mix of food and made getting going in the mornings easy. I'd certainly stay there again!

It’s amazing place to stay , we were traveling with motorbike. The view from the room is amazing just nature and singing birds. We like also walking so we made tour by foot to the Kalambaka and then up to the monastery and back to Arsenis house. I love the house it’s an old fashion style I feel like at home. The owner is fuul of storytelling he knows a lot , very good heart man.
