Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GreeceCorridors could use some face-lift not to look so 70s, a hairdryer and a small drying rack would be much needed additions in the room. But really the only negative point goes to one of the staff who would definitely need some lessons in manners when addressing to kids. Will blame it on the fact that they (kids) are not the main clients of this hotel and must say it only happened once.
Great location super close to the port! Fantastic pool, never too crowded! The room pictures did not do it justice: we were pleasantly surprised to find a large room, basic but very confortable and cleaned every single day by a lovely and friendly lady. Despite its numerous rooms and young guests, absolutely no hassle and not noisy although the isolation is fairly light. We stayed 6 nights and would definitely choose it again for our family of 4. Yes, there are many cats around fed by the property (?) but again, no hassle nor smell.

New ZealandThe aircon didn’t work very well to cool down the room and the bed wasn’t very comfortable.
Great pool! Friendly staff. Great location - between the port and Chora (just have to walk up a hill). Good value for money.

Irelandnothing we loved it
Was not expecting much for what we paid for the property but we very very surprised, it was perfect for what we needed, Apartment was spotless and cleaned daily, pool was great and staff on reception and night staff were great. It is a bit of an uphill walk but if you get the bus that is outside it makes it easier. Perfect to walk to the port

New ZealandQuite loud, the doors in the corridor would slam and it was extremely loud. I didn’t realise it was a hostel so there were a lot of young people drinking which I have no problem with but something to be aware of. A bit far from Chora. Room was basic, maybe a little overpriced for what you get
Staff really friendly, within walking distance to the Port. Nice pool area. Fine for 1 nights stay

AustraliaThe beds aren’t the most comfortable, they’re are older, although clean and sheets are changed daily, it isn’t the most comfortable sleep but if you’re young and don’t care then you’ll be fine. Be advised majority of people that stay at this hotel are between 16-30, I wouldn’t suggest this if you’re a family or are looking for a quieter, more relaxed stay as most people are drinking and chatting from midnight until 5-6am.
The property is great for young couples and friends out and about in Greece. Location is perfect as it’s close to the ferry port and walking distance to the village but bear in mind, it’s quite an incline to the top! There is a bus service every 15mins for only 2€ straight to the village and beaches so it’s so easy to get around. The property is older but staff are helpful and the bar and kitchen it’s perfect.

AustraliaThe location was really good, close to the port. There is a bit of a hike up to the village where a lot of the bars and restaurants are. You can easily catch a bus from the bottom of the driveway up there. There's some nice restaurants and bars located near the port as welll. Staff were really helpful and allowed us to stay and have a very late check in to hold our bags. The pool area was also really beautiful and well maintained and they do have a beer too with beers, cocktails and soft drink which was nice

United KingdomThe showers could use some renovating.
The pool was clean and the top rooms had an incredible view. We stayed in some higher rated accomodation afterwards but nothing compared to the view we had from our room in this hotel. As for the hygiene, we were extremely concerned prior to booking our stay due to the reviews. By no means is it a 5 star hotel but it definitely isn’t as bad as the reviews make it out to be. For sure coming back here next year and booking a longer stay.

AustraliaHad a few ants in our room coming in from outside.
Great value for money, was nice and close to get to the port and to town (walking distance), rooms are a little old but had everything you need and were quite clean. Our bathroom door got stuck but the friendly staff were prompt in fixing it immediately for us! The swimming pool and bar area is perfect to spend time during the hot days.

AustraliaThe rooms needed an update as did the bathroom and kitchen area in our rooms. A elevator would’ve been great as there were so many stairs and we were a big group who had to carry all our luggage up 3 flights of stairs as well as a steep hill.
