Location, cleanliness

The apartment needs renovation

The hosts were perfect, super responsive and kind. Every problem got resolved quickly. The location is amazing !

The shower is a bit small

This was a comfortable apartment with excellent facilities. The nearby castle is fantastic, beautiful views and definitely worth exploring

The big drawback was the view (or lack of one) and a hot and uncomfortable balcony. Based on the property description and photos we expected a full view of the castle and sea. We prefer to self cater which was why we paid a premium to book an apartment with full catering facilities and had planned to prepare our own meals and enjoy them on the balcony with a view. But all we could see was roofs and corrugated buildings and the balcony was hot and uncomfortable so we had to eat out and didn’t even have a coffee there

Location was excellent - a super short walk to a swimming beach, local supermarket, waterfront restaurants and a Venetian castle. The balcony was amazing (we could see the castle and the bay we swam in) and the umbrella made it usable all day. Having a washing machine was also excellent. Owners were lovely.

The sloping ceiling / rafters - but it was balanced out by the amazing view from being on the top floor - so it wouldn’t stop us staying again!

Needs updating kitchen utensils, more cutlery, cutting boards, salad bowls etc

The cleanness of the apartment.

It had a very comfortable bed and the place had everything you need. The lady there was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Very convenient for all amenities.

A bit dated and cluttered and noisy in the mornings if uou like to sleep in.

Spacious and very near sea

Good location and clean. There was a cleaning service during our three nights stay so that was really good. The kitchen although very very old and basic was functional. The balcony had enough space for a table and two seats but don’t expect great viiews as you might be led to believe from some photographs

We had the top floor which has slated ceilings (like an antique). I don’t know how many times I banged my head trying to make my way around 🤣 The toilet has no window to the outside other than just a fan which barely covers for ventilation. The shower had no shelves to put your stuff on (like shampoo etc) The room had two really really old and noisy aircons that cooled the place adequately but at the expense of a lot of noise. Also since the is is “attic like” it’s not insulated well so expect cold during winter and heat during summer. The balcony is spacious but has no direct view to the sea. Your immediate direct view is just another house and then on your right side you can see some really old warehouses. It is only when you look sideways and beyond those that you can actually enjoy an admittedly nice view of the castle but again not on your direct line of sight and not when seated. In terms of parking there’s no guaranteed parking available. For us it was no issue since there is a public parking nearby (200-300m) but I expect this to be completely full during peak season. Also loading and unloading your stuff could be a challenge since there is only a small alley in front of the hotel which is actually a dead end and any parking there is quickly taken during peak season.

I loved the location and being on the water. The rooms are very functional. I really appreciate they changed rooms to offer me a large bed, rather than two single beds. You have everything you need. And the view of the castle was pretty special.

This was walking distance to a great place to eat as well as a market We rented a car and had parking. The room had everything we needed. It was clean and plenty big for the two of us. Bed was comfortable and the patio area was perfect! The view of the water and the castle from the balcony was gorgeous and it was very affordable. Would absolutely stay again!!!

No real sitting space except in the kitchen or in the deck, but that’s not really a huge deal if you’re out and about all day. TV is in the bedroom
