The property could do with a bit of modernizing. The kitchen and bathroom look and feel dated, but everything did work. I'm sure this is reflected in the accommodation price and so it's not a complaint. We don't spend a great deal of time in the apartment using it mainly as a base to explore the beautiful island.

Anna is an excellent host, very warm and accommodating. We love the location of the apartments in the quiet village of Zola. The views are amazing from the balconies and the excellent beach of Vouti is about a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk away. There is also a nice restaurant only a 4 minute walk down the road.

Quite a small bathroom and unequipped kitchen. And the fact that there are no shops near the accommodation

Excellent, quite secluded location in the tiny village. That's what we needed and we stayed there for 5 nights. Anna was great. She upgraded us to the top floor after couple of nights and the view of the sea was spectacular. There is an awesome tavern in the village and we walked to both beaches, Kiryaki and Vouti, both superb with taverns and snack bars. It was a bit of a hike on the way back but we loved it.

Plenty of parking. Friendly , helpful hostess, Anna. Room we had was the small one, but, had everything we needed, & very lovely terrace with partial sea view . Super clean. Free wifi. So close to Vouti Beach.

Clean and well air conditioned with two en-suites, one for each bedroom. Great veranda with coffee table and plenty of space to sit and enjoy the sea breeze. Property has adjoining retreat garden with bbq facility and beautiful grass section.

AMAZING location and I mean amazing! If you know how good Vouti beach is you will then appreciate that you are a five minute drive. My room had a sea view which was stunning. Close to an excellent tavern and a beautiful cafe a short drive.

Anna waited up for us quite late due to a delay in our flight arrival. She was very welcoming and arranged for us to get some food from a lady she knew who had a cantine nearby as we arrived late and were hungry.

Cannot think of anything

The location was amazing, with spectacular views from balcony. Very peaceful location which was what we were looking for. The property was within walking distance of the local taverna. Supermarket is a challengeing drive away so pick up supplies before you arrive in Zola.

Anna was the most amazing host! The property was beautiful & the view from the balcony was stunning it was such a peaceful area. Anna gave us fresh fruit from her garden & was even kind enough to offer to do a laundry wash for us half way through our holiday as we went for 2 weeks- we would definitely stay there again & can’t fault Anna at all she was so lovely!!

The only real negative was the kitchen which was very basic and you would struggle to make more than a sandwich in it. We ate out so it wasn't an issue for us.

Our host was warm and welcoming. The location of this property is fantastic, with great views and 2 beautiful beaches only a few minutes drive away. For the price we thought it was excellent value for money. Plus there's a lovely restaurant only 3 mins walk away. Agia Effimia was around 30 mins and Lixouri around 25 mins drive.

I had a great stay at the property - Anna’s a very kind host who offered me help and advice about my stay, and made me feel very welcomed. She and her husband were kind enough to even give me a lift to another city, for which I’m very grateful! I loved the balcony above a cute garden with a great view: one can admire the rising moon behind the mountain. The room was spacious, bed comfortable, and I had everything I needed for my stay, including a friendly cat coming to me for some petting. I had a peaceful time which I really needed so I’m very happy with my time and I would definitely choose Anna’s place again.

Some basics missing from the kitchenette e.g. chopping board, can opener. The shower cubicle is small - not an issue for us, but could be a problem for large people. A parasol would be useful for the balcony, as it can get too hot there.

Excellent peaceful location in the village of Zola, with a beautiful sea view from the balcony. The apartment was spacious, with good use made of available space. Although the fridge and oven looked a bit old, they worked fine. The bed was very comfortable. Shower worked fine, although the water was not so hot in the morning. Good base for exploring the west and north of Kefalonia. Excellent value for money.

Bed mattress a bit too hard

Excellent location for visiting the beaches in the north of the island. Anna is very welcoming and helpful. The sea view room offers a beautiful view from the terrace where you also have a small table and chairs. The property also has a nice garden and barbecue. We really enjoyed staying here.

Located in the sleepy town of Zola, Anna Studios are in the perfect location to explore the North of the island, and to find some calm sitting on the balcony taking in the serene sea view. Great value, fantastic host who checked in that I had everything I needed, I would recommend Anna Studios to anyone looking for a pleasant, affordable place to base themselves.

This property is misrepresented, It should state visitors need a car and lots of stairs. We did not have a car. The property and reviews state its 2 minutes drive to beaches but does not mention the house is way up near the top of the mountain which you cannot ascertain from the photos and therefore miles to beaches. The husband met us and could not give us the keys. The taverna had very little food on offer and no shop to purchase food for self-catering. We were finally met by the wife, shown our room which was the tiny left hand attic room as you look at the property. The balcony was too small and certainly could not fit sun loungers as stated in the booking. The kitchen was tiny and not well equipped, Overall extremely disappointing and the owner would not accept our cancellation and demanded full payment even though our booking terms stated we should only be required to pay half the fee. After much argument and prevarication we were so upset that we paid the whold fee so we could just leave the house, I would appreciate Booking.com contacting the owner and getting half the fee refunded to me per the terms, as it was a disgrace the way the owner argued and treated us.

Located in a small village, 2 beaches very close (3min and 7min by car). The balcony has a view of one of those beaches, which you can enjoy in the evening hours, in the morning there is direct sun and there is no protection, umbrellas or awnings. The host is very kind. We stayed for 6 nights and received clean bed linen and towels in the middle of our stay.
