Stairs to upstairs bedroom are too steep for small kids or elderly people. Not a problem for our 10-year-old, but something to consider for others.

I genuinely think this villa has the best views of anywhere on Santorini.

The loft was a little hard to climb the stairs. Once you got upstairs you ultimately will hit your head.

You can not get a better view. Sunsets every night. The pool was cold but that didn't stop us from not going in. I would expect it to be very refreshing in the summer. Beds were great

Not a criticism, but you do need your own transport or a taxi to get here.

The sunset was absolutely amazing. A feeling of quiet and seclusion. The host was very helpful and gave us lots of ideas about what to do around the island.

Just be careful that one of the bedrooms is up a flight of stairs, that is steep with a low banister at the top. Not for everyone. And be careful of the many tourists who hire out quad bikes but don't know how to ride them, or understand how the Greek roads work, a big problem to all other road users.

Everything. Don't be fooled by bad reviews. Taxi's can find this place with the right information! This is a stunning very quiet location with amazing and stunning sunset views! The best on Santorini. The location is quiet, behind a wine yard. The villa is well maintained, very clean, and you are well looked after with daily new towels and linen. The host, Mr Thomas was amazing. And then there's a pool which is deep enough to dip into out of the hot sun and look out from to the Sea and Santorini. Breath-taking. Use a hire car to visit Fira and Oia.

There was nothing I 'didn't like'. but a few little things would make this accommodation perfect. An awning or shaded area outside the villa so we could enjoy the outdoors but stay away from the sun. Some shrubs to make a little privacy between us and the next door villa. Maybe even a glass wind break round the pool. A little more storage for the upstairs bedroom - drawers under the bed would have been great. But I'm just being pedantic - it was fantastic, but these things would make it perfection.

The villa was beautiful. The location was great - out of the busy big towns, but walking distance to the restaurants and shops of Megalochori, and an easy drive to anywhere on the island. The view was out of this world. Equally as good a view as the expensive villas etc of Oia, but without thousands of people looking down on your 'privacy' as they roam the town. Thomas meets you to let you in, and is on hand for any problems throughout your stay. We had the most relaxing holiday we've had in years!

Location for arriving to the villa were not clear and quite difficult to travel to. Local taxi drivers did not know the address at all and had to walk through jungles of vine in scorching heat to find the place then again had to walk back to the nearby vinery to collect keys for the host. the back and forth walk in the heat with kids, elderly and luggage's were horrible. and its far away from any markets or bus stop so you need to have your transport to travel or ready to spend money on taxi

Views are fantastic and in our opinion the best on the island. Pool is a great size! Kitchen is well equipped. Couldn't of asked for anymore, far superior to anything else it's price range. Would highly recommend!!

The location of the resort is remote: the nearest shop, grocer's and restaurant is a car ride away and unfortunately we hadn't realised and hadn't hired a rental vehicle. Taxis had been affordable in the town centre unfortunately, the taxi recommended and subsequently used was prohibitively expensive.

The tranquility and the view of the Caldera from the rear garden: truly beautiful. However; our experience was greatly enhanced by Mrs Maria who was on hand from our arrival to the end of our stay - she was very professional in her dealings and extremely helpful! She's an absolute asset to Ananda Retreat.

The outside area is beautiful. I stayed in Villa T. The pool sits sideways across the amazing view. The outside area is very large. Over looked by the other villa but there was nobody there during our stay. It says two bedrooms but it's only suitable for one bedroom use in my view The bed above the kitchen has a very steep ladder up to it, where you can not stand up straight (I'm only 5ft 4!) and a little railing across the front. Not safe to put anybody up there really. Also if anyone went into kitchen or lounge they would be woken. Smaller inside than I expected. Great place if you don't need to use that upstairs space.
