The hotel is located on the highway leading into Plakias, and this clashes somewhat with the calm, zen vibes of the hotel itself. At the end, it made no big difference with regards to the quality of our time there or levels of noise. There is some room for improvement (the pool is on the small side, the pool lounge area needs some more attention, a lift could be a useful addition), but these are mere hiccups in an overall superb stay.

A calm and beautiful oasis at the outskirts of Plakias, within a short distance from both the centre of the town and the beach. The neutral color palette, the rustle of grasses in the wind and the emphasis on Mediterranean scents in toiletries and candles all contribute towards a sensuous, relaxing experience, perfect after a day in the sun. Our stay that was made even better by the very warm and knowledgeable owners and hosts, who offered excellent advice on activities, beaches, and eating out. A further bonus was the sale of handmade ceramics and candles through the hotel app.

Thank you for an unforgettable experience! The service at the hotel was simply amazing – we received incredibly detailed and heartfelt recommendations about the entire area. The hosts helped us with everything we needed, always with kindness and care. The location is perfect – just a 4-minute walk from a breathtaking beach, a nearby supermarket, and 5–10 minutes from all the best restaurants and tavernas in the area. The hotel itself is of a very high standard – the rooms are beautiful, clean, and stylish, with luxurious shampoo and conditioner that smell wonderful. Everything is thoughtful and high quality down to the smallest detail. We truly had a fantastic stay – and at the end, we even received a lovely gift from the hosts 💛 We fell in love with the place! It’s ideal for couples and travelers who plan to explore the island, but it’s also perfect for relaxing – with a great pool and room service for food. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back again!

A little close to a busy-ish road but it didn’t spoil our stay.

A fantastically welcoming and comfortable little hotel. Rooms are a good size with lovely little extras (local breads and their own Raki), amazing smelling toiletries, v comfy bed and large balcony. Clever use of QR to link to ordering breakfast, their toiletries to buy and recommended places to eat / see. Short walk to the beach which has beautiful sunsets

Location was great for us, just keep in mind is a 10 min walk to the centre of the village and the beach.

This is an absolutely stunning hotel. Very big and comfortable rooms, comfortable beds, top quality toiletries provided, and an enormous attention to detail which didn’t go unnoticed. Staff members were brilliant and the whole hotel is designed in a way to encourage reflection, calmness, and relaxation. We also enjoyed the ambient music playing in the balconies and corridors, great addition to the concept. Breakfast is upon request but it was amazing; served in our balcony and definitely worth it.

Amazing place - perfectly aesthetic, clean, attention to details in every way possible. You wake up every day to a fresh, homemade breakfast served directly on your terrace by the pool while soft jazz music is playing in the background. Owners are very kind and you could see they enjoy running the hotel and know how to do it - they also treated us with small local delicacies and a complimentary bottle of wine. We really wish we will have the chance to come back again.

The beach close by is very touristy and in very contrast to the beautiful hotel. Hence I recommend to go to the mountains to eat some local food. I wish Amente was in a better location as it deserves more visibility!

Super nice staff, helped us with everything. The two girls managing the reception, were exceptional. Also, entering the reception, the smell was good. The rooms to our surprise were by far exceeding the expectations and much better than some other hotels around the island claiming 5 stars. We stayed in other hotels areound the island but this one is the one we remember. Also, the food we’ve ordered for lunch was pretty good. Usually I don’t write reviews but the service and staff and amenities deserve a review. Well done !

The place is beautiful and clean, the rooms are really big and comfortable and we had the most amazing time! We stayed in the room above the pool so it was quiet and more private, but the whole place was absolutley quiet and serene. The owners were the nicest and loveliest ever, and shared reccomandations with us that were all amazing, and they were SO helpful with everything at any time. We were dying to stay longer! Couldn't reccomend it more! Everything was perfect, delicious breakfast, perfect facilities, perfect location (for both driving and walking).
