Beautiful property and room which was extremely clean and spacious. Excellent location close to the local bus stop and supermarket, as well as a quick walk into the Old Town. I love that this property is family run, they were all so lovely and welcoming! A big thank you to you all for making our stay so wonderful!

I liked everything!

Out of the five different hotels we stayed in across the Greek islands during our honeymoon, this was by far the nicest room we had. It was absolutely perfect — spacious, stylish, and so beautifully designed. We both agreed it was the best accommodation of our entire trip. The location couldn’t be better. Within just a five-minute walk, you’re right in the centre, which made it so easy to explore while still having a calm, beautiful place to retreat to. What really made our stay so memorable, though, was the people. The staff were brilliant — so kind, helpful, and understanding. They went above and beyond for us, staying up late so we could check in around 11pm, and surprising us with a bottle of Prosecco in our room to congratulate us on our honeymoon. Those thoughtful touches made us feel so welcomed and cared for from the very beginning. The hotel itself is stunning, everything is beautifully kept, and the service throughout was attentive without ever feeling overbearing. We left feeling so grateful and so impressed. I will definitely, definitely, definitely be returning — not just because of how beautiful the hotel is, but because of how special the staff made our stay.

Spotless and beautiful boutique style hotel. Rooms cleaned everyday and owners very helpful with resteraunt recommendations and sorting taxis. The hotel is a short walk away from the main area but far enough to be peaceful. Hotel right next to supermarket and bus stop to explore the island! Thanks so much for a lovely stay we will definitely be back :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Althaea. Everything is pristine and immaculate, the rooms are large and the bed was super comfortable. I cannot fault it. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing, we’re coming back next year!!

Perfect in every way! Close to the town but still quiet and tranquil, room was spotless, cafe provided delicious food and mango smoothies were a hit! Staff are excellent, so friendly, helped us source a quad bike, Mamma Mia cruise etc. The sunbeds are unbelievably comfortable, we basically had a private pool most of the time.

Nice big rooms with 2 bedrooms and a nice big balcony. The staff is friendly og good cleaning. It is close to town and beach. The bus to other beaches is just across the road.

Highly recommended and could not fault.

Great location, 1 minute walk to supermarket, 3 minute walk to restaurants/bars/shops, 10 min walk to port. This is a family run business and they are all very welcoming and will go out of their way to help you on your holiday finding trips or booking restaurants and taxis etc They have the best coffee and the breakfast/lunch/snack menu is all very good. The cleaners work very hard and keep the place and rooms looking fresh every day.

Loved everything about our stay here! Modern and comfortable room with a well-sized private terrace, beautiful pool area which was always so clean (and very comfortable sun loungers!), great pool bar for breakfast and drinks, and a perfect location - only a short walk into the town and a few mins from bus stop 3 and a big supermarket. The staff are so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome! Would highly recommend and hope to come back soon!

It was modern, very clean and a great location to the town and also the bus stops (to access the beaches everyday). It was great to have a pool to cool down in when walking back from the beach. The pool and surrounding area were maintained to a high standard. The family that run the hotel were extremely welcoming and friendly.

Nothing it was perfect!

Loved the location, the beautiful rooms and pool area, lovely and helpful staff and delicious frappes! I stayed here with my mum and this was our second visit which says a lot about how much we love it! It’s located just on the edge of town, right next to a supermarket, and the rooms are huge and modern, so comfortable and the cleaners are amazing too! The pool area is gorgeous with the most comfortable sun loungers you’ll ever lie on. The family who runs the hotel are all so kind and can’t do enough to help you. Special thank you for all the delicious iced coffees and frappes! It’s such a fabulous hotel, I would definitely recommend it and I’m sure we will be returning for a third time!

This accommodation is exceptional. It is very clear that a great deal of thought and consideration has gone into every detail of the rooms, and they are beautiful. The accommodation itself would be classed as boutique 'small and friendly' and it is most certainly friendly. I felt extremely safe there as a solo female traveller and any assistance I requested was provided without hesitation. The small pool and pool bar are a gorgeous addition to the rooms, the sunbeds being of the best quality and the pool bar also serving breakfast, brunch and lunchtime snacks and drinks. It is a very leisurely 8-9 minute stroll into the centre of Skiathos Town, though I would recommend a torch for a small section of your return walk after dark. I would highly recommend these rooms to my friends and I will most certainly return very soon.

I loved everything

Fabulous property in a great location just a few minutes from the centre of town. Alkis, his sister and family are friendly hosts who have a little gem here. Rooms are beautiful, spacious and exceptionally clean. There is a small outdoor bar on site serving drinks and snacks. The sunbeds around the pool are so comfortable. I would definitely stay here again
