We weren't to impressed with some of the performances during the evening. The rooms weren't soundproofed so having an early evening were impossible during the nights when someone was singing/playing music. We think since our room were at the end of the complex we couldn't use Netflix in the room but this is a minor issue.

Good variety breakfast, comfortable beds, friendly professional staff. We really liked that the hotel is located a bit outside of Heraklion, it's calm but still loads of restaurants and shops nearby. Love how well cared for all the cats are.

The location is the only downside because although it is near the beach there is not much else around in the immediate area.

The only flaws I can mention are 1) too bad for the building under construction or abandoned in front that is out of the way with the wonderful vegetation they created around the pool 2) the door is not soundproofed, but despite this the rest is and therefore it was not a big problem. That's why we decided to give the highest grade anyway! Congratulations!

The hotel is a few minutes walk from the beach and some restaurants and markets. In addition, the airport is about ten minutes away. In the hotel there is an excellent restaurant for dinner that also provides breakfast and lunch and aperitif in front of the pool. It's all new, modern and comfortable, including the gym. The nicest thing, which we highly recommend, is to take one of the rooms with a private pool. It's really a pool all to yourself that is part of the room beyond the terrace. Waking up and using the pool or doing it after breakfast or after the sea is wonderful. You can also call a taxi or rent a car through the reception and see other beauties of the island easily. The staff is kind and nice and the food is great as always in Greece.

We had a great time at this hotel! Ever since we arrived we felt very welcomed by all of the staff members. Throught our stay they were really helpful and always professional. The food was really good as well, very nice cooking and lots to choose from. The pools were very clean and the lounging area was very peaceful and quiet. Only in the weekends it got a bit chaotic because of the people coming from the outside. We booked a private suite with a pool and we loved every detail of our room. It was cleaned daily. My boyfriend had a great time at the gym, it had all the neccessities. We recommend this hotel for a great and peaceful vacation!

Very modern and beautifully decorated rooms + pool/restaurant area. Delicious breakfast. Helpful staff. Easy to access by public transport. A bit further from oldtown/city center, but we weren't planning on exploring Heraklion, so it was a perfect choice for us.

I LOVED everything. The staff was so kind and considerate. They would also go the extra mile. The breakfast was tasty, every single day. The pool and the gym are a big plus. The location is perfect (easy to go to the east and west of the island). Also, it was really clean!

This amazing place is like an island paradise in a typical Cretan environment. The service and attitude of the staff, led by the owner, Gorgi, hovers over the guests and gives the feeling of completeness, that's how a hotel should be run. We were in a room with a private pool that really upgrades the vacation. The hotel's restaurant only contributes to the feeling of complete enjoyment of the vacation.

While the room had a great vibe overall, I do wish there had been some additional lighting, especially in the bathroom when I needed to do my makeup. Also, the pillows were quite large and firm for my taste. It would’ve been nice to have a softer option available.

I really enjoyed my stay! The room was a great size, giving us plenty of space to relax. The shower lighting and overall ambiance added such a nice touch—felt modern and calming. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. Would definitely recommend!

Every detail was perfect

Everything is super clean and neat. The hotel is really a boutique, not too many guests and the staff is amazing. I can write so much about everything being perfect. Some would say that the location is not good but I find it perfect, it’s 10 minutes drive from city center, there’s a parking and it’s a quiet area and it makes it so peaceful. Wonderful hotel for sure will be back.

Hotel is not big so not much of activities there, this means - breakfast was really basic and minimal - not something very bad just caused by small size of hotel I guess. There is unfinished buildings from sides - don't think hotel can do much about them thou. Location is not good - quite far from Heraklion and not much around to do besides pool, beach and several bars nearby, but if you drive - should not be a problem.

The only thing we thought out of place is the building just next to the hotel- unfinished and empty. But to be fair there is nothing the hotel can do about them.

The property is really new, modern and well equipped. We loved having our private swimming pool and the common swimming pool Was extremely relaxing. The bar super efficient and the staff always smiley and helpful. Even for a hot chocolate on the summer!

The view is not the best if you don’t choose view on see but other than that we can’t find a negative point.

The location is really good. We are at 15min on car maximum of the center of Heraklion. 3min walk of the Amoudara beach which is sublime. The hotel has also a very nice swimming pool and a jacuzzi with a very nice decor all around. The room is clean and the shower is a real plus for it. The staff is kind and always open to help.

Our hotelroom was very comfortable and very clean. The interieur design of the room has a modern atmosphere and was exactly like shown in the pictures. Toilet and shower were separated, which gave us a good comfort. I liked the black style of the bathroom. There are many different light options in the room, so you can create an atmosphere as you want. The black curtain darkens the room very good, so it’s easy to sleep in darkness. Finally the room was very clean, they took a lot of care to keep the room clean. The area (restaurant, pool area, gym) is very clean too. The pool has a good size for swimming or getting a refreshment by hanging around in the water. There are sunbeds in the shade or sunbeds in the sun, giving you the opportunity to choose your place as you need. We just booked breakfast and we were completely confident with the things they offered for breakfast. It’s very fresh and they change the offered food a little daily. The best at the hotel was the staff! The women working at the reception, in the restaurant or the room service were excellent, helpful and absolutely lovely. The area around the hotel is supreme too. You just need to walk maximum 2 minutes to get to the beach (a long sandy beach, where you can easily enter the sea to swim or cool down). There are many shops and different restaurants, which you can reach by walking. The bus stop is maximum 2 minutes walk far from the hotel. The bus takes you in approx 15 minutes to the center of Heraklion.

My friend and I arrived at the Alsus Boutique Hotel in early April. The experience was simply perfect. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The staff and the manager were very nice to us and helped us with everything we needed. The room is beautiful. The people at the hotel improved our vacation on several levels. In addition, the staff at the bar was really friendly and nice. Without a doubt, one of the best hotels we have stayed at and we will definitely come again ❤️💕

No fresh towels everyday unless I ask, pool not working properly the first 2 days. noizy with workers,

The room is modern and cozy. It is nice to have the pool but first couple of days the pool was not working properly. There was worker every morning so a little noizy but we understand it was early vacation before the tourists season. The breakfast was ok but cold omelettes and pancakes, no option for toast and only regular coffee was offered if you wanted anything else like cappuccino you had to pay for it. The room was made everyday but I had to ask for fresh towel all the time because they forgot to change it.

The place is loud you can hear all the neighbours and the floor doors. We wished the place would be more quiet and private. Rooms are too close and privacy is not guaranteed. There was no coffee machine, you are supposed to boil water and and coffee powder…….
