Too many mosquitoes in the room and few beds near the pool. Also they charge for the beds in the beach which should be free for hotel guests

Bath shower could be renewed, bed was a bit small in size. Everything else was perfect!

The apartment was well equipped, rustic traditional design (the one that we got). The breakfast was tasty and fresh, and stuff very polite!

Honestly it was nearly perfect. I think maybe the food could be a bit better and the restaurant area a bit cleaner but honestly it was nothing important.

I was sad to only stay one night. The staff is super nice. The room was good and comfortable, there is everything that you need (towels, balcony, etc.) The terrace and the beach are super nice. The breakfast is good, there is a lot of choice and fresh orange juice!

Nothing really to say here, apart from that I often struggle with those modern thick pillows. A choice would be nice, especially as the mattresses were on the medium to firm.

Lovely start to our holiday on Crete. We had only booked a night, but if returning to North Coast near Chania would consider this hotel for a longer stay. So close to the beach, lovely room decor and service. Amazing bathroom, too.

Everything was perfect! Location is greate, o the side of the beach. It's amazing to eat with the beach in front of you. All The staff was so kind and there for all you need. The hotel has The own restaurant witch was great for us. Breakfast was enough and diferent day by day.

Nothing!

The room was spacious and stunning. Really well equipped. And a nice drying rack attached to the wall on the property. The food is home cooked, nothing fancy but delicious and not over priced. Breakfast pancakes were delicious and their version of Cretan salad was yummy. The home made lemoncello which they left in the room and served after meals (offering a choice of that and Ouzo) Beach bed policy was not to charge on days with a lot of cloud or some rain even though lots of is still used them for at least some of the day.

We liked everything!

We loved everything at the lovely Alkionides hotel! We were made to feel very welcome with lovely staff, the room was lovely with gorgeous balcony to sit on, the restaurant under the trees at the edge of the beach was a perfect place to enjoy lovely meals and drinks (particularly at sunset!).

We stayed there for 7 days and used the apartment mainly to access all of the attractions in this part of the island. So we did not use beach or other services. But the apartment was very good, clean, quite, we enjoyed terrace to rest in the evening. Very good breakfast. There is a pool as well. We did not use it, as we traveled everyday somewhere. Very good location with easy access to main street in Platanias and parking right at the building. So it had all we wanted. :-)
