Our stay at hotel Alexia was spectacular! The entire infrastructure of the hotel is thoughtfully designed. The functionality of the rooms deserves special recognition – everything is modern, practical, and incredibly comfortable. The beds provided us with the ultimate level of comfort, ensuring restful and refreshing sleep every night. The hotel's location is absolutely ideal, situated right by the sea, offering breathtaking views and easy access to the beach. Mornings started with delicious and diverse breakfasts that catered to all preferences – everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. The staff were delightful – incredibly polite, attentive, and always willing to assist with a smile. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was beyond impressive – it truly felt pristine and spotless at every corner. Hotel Alexia offers a perfect combination of comfort and care. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our holiday, and we will definitely be returning! Highly recommended!

The only thing that was a bit of disappointment is that even though the hotel has a beach bar you have to pay extra for the sunbeds (15€) though a couple of beach bars next door had free beds as long as you order something. This made our chill days a bit more uncomfortable due to the fact that we couldn’t even lay by the pool because all guests would lay their towels there for the whole day and even leave the area still occupying the space. + internet connection was very bad

Our stay was very nice the hotel overall is beautiful in a good location with very friendly staff and comfy beds. Daily cleaning of the room fresh breakfast everyday and even gardener that was attending the public areas.

The staff are amazing. This is the second time I have stayed here. It’s clean, well located. The pool is the best in the area and right next to the beach. The boys at the bar restaurant are very friendly and always professional.

Room wasnt cleaned every day, and we had in the room small kitchenette where ants were running all day round, so I wouldnt dare to leave any food in there.

Staff is very nice, helpful and friendly. Hotel is not far from the airport and is just on the beach. Swimming pool was nice, with the shallow zone for children. Also there is a shop with food and tourist stuff, and swimming staff, and coffee, and other things, which is great, so you dont need to go anywhere far. Location for breakfast was very nice, just near the pool and view on the beach. Breakfast was simple, but good and you can find all breakfast meals. There are few restaurants nearby, easy to walk for a dinner.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Our room was cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. Before arriving, we saw several reviews mentioning the lack of a hairdryer and a place to store luggage after checkout — but we’re happy to report that both a hairdryer and a locker are available. The location is fantastic — just a 2-minute walk from the sea. However, do note that the entrance to the water can be tricky due to some slippery rocks, so if you’re traveling with small children, keep that in mind. There’s a beach café « Lav -raki” on-site that serves incredibly delicious food, mostly traditional Greek dishes — always fresh and flavorful. The selection of quality alcohol and cocktails is also impressive. Everything is clean and well-maintained. The restaurant staff deserve special mention for being attentive, polite, and genuinely kind. And one of the highlights — you can enjoy absolutely stunning sunsets right from the restaurant “ Lav - raki” It’s a truly magical experience to have dinner or a drink while watching the sun dip into the sea. If you’re not into spending time by the pool, there are sunbeds and umbrellas available at a reasonable price right by the beach. Overall, everything was excellent. Highly recommended!

Wifi in the room was really slow. People reserved sunbeds by the pool early in the morning.

The new renowated room was nice and spacious. AC worked well and there was good size fridge in the room. Poolarea is great and the food in beach bar good. Free parking beside the hotel was nice. Hotel staff is friendly and the location good. Many restaurants and shops nearby.

Breakfast was nice just not very much choice, I didn't like that it costs residents 18 euro to have 3 loungers and a parasol on the beach for a day. This should be free as it is everywhere else I've ever stayed. It's free at beachside restaurants nearby as long as you buy food/drink.

Lovely staff, very clean hotel and recently refurbished, great location pretty much on the border of Agia Marina and Platanias. Would definitely recommend. Accommodated a late addition to our booking no problem for an additional 20euro per night.

We were upgraded to a suite by the hotel that was beautifully appointed and had sun beds and a hot tub on the deck. The hot tub was empty and the manager wanted €50 per night to fill it. We declined. In my view, if the room the hotel offered us had a hot tub, it should be included and functioning even if it was an upgrade. Nevertheless we had a fabulous time and loved the room.

Breakfast bit disappointing. Would preferred to have room only option. Bar by pool got very busy lunchtimes & only one person serving so we never got our drinks on one occasion.

We were in recently updated studio. Very comfy beds & good shower that you don’t always get. Quiet. Chosen for sea view which didn’t disappoint. Large fridge in room which was handy. Nice pool area.

It's only a small detail, but a few more parasols would have been a bonus, but that shouldn't detract away from how great this place is.

I was surprised the bar wasn’t open after 7 .. but there are lots of bars in the area. My Only concern .. There was a slight lip into the bathroom and I tripped into the the shower banging my head on the shower wall .. I did report it to the front desk but just in case anyone else misses their step too ..

We were given a new room which unfortunately had issues with the shower and bathroom, however this was quickly amended and compensated.

Really good location with amazing facilities and really attending staff. The shop on site in really useful and the bus stop opposite makes it really easy to travel into chania in around 15 minutes. The food at the bar/ restaurant was really good.

The beach was not perfect, it was after storm and before the start of the season but seemed to be dirty, however it is not far to travel to the west to beautiful beaches (Falasarna, Elafonisi). Also there might be bigger choice at breakfast.

The room was cery clean and spacious, the owners and staff were friendly and we felt like home. Our 3-years old received plenty of sweets and gifts:) Breakfast was almost the same every day, but everyone found something to start a day with. Food in the restaurant was really good, but we ordered just once. The location is good, lots od restaurants and shops around, bus stop in front of the hotel.

Maybe one thing was that we had a kitchen and there wasn't cutlery or other kitchen stuff.

First of all the staff was very helpful and friendly. The room and the breakfast place were amazing. We received a room with see side view. The room always was clean. In case we turn back we will choose this gorgeous hotel.

Excellent location to relax. Comfortable beds, perfectly clean. Wonderful pool. Staff were really really kind, helpful and friendly. Sea was right behind the property about 2 mins walk from our room. Bus stop outside hotel with regular bus in both directions. Easy walk to a huge variety of superb restaurants, and a very nice range of shops.
