United KingdomNothing in particular. Public transport is every 1 hr. May end up losing time or waiting for the bus. Hiring a two wheeler or ATV is the best way to commute around. Taxi’s can be expensive.
From the moment we arrived, the experience was smooth and welcoming. The free shuttle between the port and the hotel was incredibly convenient, especially after a day of travel. The hosts were fantastic — friendly and informative. They gave us a great overview of the area, including the best spots to visit and where to eat local specialties. When we spontaneously decided to go on a full-day boat trip, they helped us organize a last-minute booking without any hassle. That level of care was truly appreciated. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked each morning at the hotel — a lovely way to start the day. The accommodation itself was clean, cozy, and comfortable. One of the highlights was the private jacuzzi, which was the perfect touch for a relaxing evening. The location also worked well for exploring the island — just a short 3-minute walk to the nearby bus stand, making it easy to get around. All in all, our stay at Alexandros Village was easy, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Milos!

George even sourced a very reasonably priced rental vehicle for us prior to our arrival and outlined the best restaurants and beaches to visit to suit our requirements.Maria in the kitchen is an absolute sweetheart and not only provided a scrumptious breakfast but some lively banter as well....it helps being Greek. A memorable 3 days we will always cherish.

My mom and I had a lovely and relaxing holiday at Alexandros Village. The family offers you a warm welcome and are very helpful with our heavy luggage. The staff was so kind and friendly. Free transfers service for arrival and departure which was very pleasant. We got an upgrade of our room so it was very spacious, as well as the beautiful bathroom with a good shower, thanks for the upgrade. We followed many of Alexandros' recommendations for beaches to visit and restaurants to eat at, and we had a wonderful time at those places. The hotel is located centrally, they helped us set up with car rental and take busses. The hotel have a lot of levels, so if stairs are difficult for you, I would beware but my mum is 73 and it was a good excercise. Every morning a yummy breakfast with lots of friendly cats. We would stay again, we highly recommend this hotel.
