Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsThere were too many chemicals in the jacuzzi but they fixed it fast for us.
The accommodation is very close to the beach, and 15 minutes walk away from the Faliraki center. Many different beaches in the area. Peaceful part of Faliraki and great staff.

IrelandOur room was right on the road, room 4, and it did lack a bit of privacy. I would prefer more bushes around the fence to prevent people looking in at you when you were sunbathing but it wasn't that big of an issue, just something to note.
Having our own private pool made the whole stay feel very luxurious, the size of our room was excellent as well and we had sun all day directly facing our pool which was an added bonus. It was walking distance to restaurants and bars and beaches, plus there was a shop right beside it for quick bits you needed. The staff were super lovely and helpful also. I would recommend.

United KingdomWe would have liked to do late check-out (pay the relevant fee for it) but it was indicated to us that we should have booked an extra night just to cover our stay until 6pm on our departure day.
We really enjoyed our stay at Alexander Suites. The room was spacious, the balcony was private, the cleaning ladies were very considerate and nice and the lady at the reception was very helpful too. The breakfast was excellent, nice variety, every day you could eat something different. This was the best hotel so far for us in this neighbourhood, we had stayed in this area before and hopefully, we will be back next year.

Czech RepublicThe holiday was in May, when the evenings were still cold. Therefore, I would have liked the temperature in the hot tub to be set higher.
Our stay was absolutely flawless. The accommodation in the room with the jacuzzi was more than luxurious. The cleaning was done every day and very high quality. The breakfasts were rich and very tasty, so they became my favorite part of the day. The staff was nice and always helpful. Parking at the hotel is easy. We would be very happy to return to this hotel one day.

SwitzerlandThere is no closet for the clothes. A table would be appreciated in the room, but there is no space. The suite is rather small.
Privat parking in front of the premises. Spacious shower. Comfortable bed. Very good breakfast. Useable WiFi. Various TV channels.

IsraelAlthough our stay was wonderful overall, we did experience a couple of minor issues. First, we noticed a few ants in the room. When we mentioned this to the reception before leaving, she explained that it’s typical for the season. We understand that seasonal factors can contribute, but a bit more preventative action might make a difference for future guests. Additionally, on two of the five nights, the Jacuzzi wasn’t quite warm enough. We found out that the owner could adjust it if needed, so we recommend letting him know right away if you encounter the same issue. He’s very responsive and eager to make the stay as comfortable as possible!
We appreciated the owner's warm hospitality and prompt response when we arrived late due to a delayed flight. Despite the reception operating on limited hours (7 AM to 3 PM), the owner was incredibly accommodating and arrived within minutes of our message to welcome us. His friendly, attentive service set the tone for our stay, offering us a tour of the property and even recommending an authentic local taverna for a memorable dining experience. The room itself was immaculate, thoughtfully arranged, and equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the sea-view balcony, which offered breathtaking views and a perfect spot to unwind, as well as the luxurious Jacuzzi, which made our stay feel extra special. The room’s comfortable bed, strong air conditioning, and mini-fridge added to our comfort, making this an ideal choice for couples looking for a relaxing retreat

BelgiumThe hygiene wasn’t the best, we wanted to cook for ourselves and stay in but the kitchentools were very dirty and there was no option to wash them ourselves. The edges in the shower and the sink were also not clean… When we had our sign ‘do not disturb’ on, the cleaning staff completely ignored it and bothered us when we were in the room. We didn’t want cleaning every day because it wasn’t necessary but when we came back, they also ignored the sign and went in our room anyway.
We booked a suit with ocean view and it gave us the best vibes when we woke up! It was also near the centre of Faliraki and only a 25min ride to old town Rhodes and 40min ride to Lindos.

IrelandA couple of times throughout our stay we had a powercut, the hotel seemed to be able to fix it within 15-30mins but sometimes it was a bit inconvenient
Location was excellent - 1min walk from the beach and supermarket, 10 mins walk from the centre of faliraki with loads of nice restaurants and shops! Would definitely recommend the suites with the private pool - it was fab! Breakfast was very nice with a lot of choice from fruit, yoghurt, pastries etc, it also changed slightly everyday which was nice to have the variety. The room itself was perfect, there was a small kitchenette which was perfect to make our lunch each day, the bed was comfortable and it had a lovely shower. Staff were very friendly and we were able to rent a car through the hotel which was very handy! Overall I’d definitely recommend and I can’t wait to go back!

United KingdomThere could be more sun lounges and umbrellas around the pool, there were only 3. We couldn't use the pool one day as all were taken by other guests.
Everything at Alexander Studios was perfect. We really enjoyed a stay here about 4 years ago so we thought we would give it a go again. The accomodation is in the perfect location, about a 2min walk to the beach, multiple restaurants, beach bars and cafes. Its situated far enough from Faliraki centre that you don't hear the crazy night scene but still close enough to walk in for dinner. The staff at Alexander studios are all so friendly and helpful and willing to help with whatever you ask. The room had a lovely plunge pool, balcony and air-conditioning, everything was always clean and modern. The main communal pool was great in the evenings and had a few sun lounges and covers. The included breakfast was very good every morning, the selection changed from day to day. Specific dietary requirements were catered for at no extra cost. Staff allowed us to use the facilities on our final day as our flight was much later in evening, this really helped us to freshen up at the pool before heading to the airport.
