Amazing location in a quiet part of the island which is pretty much paradise. A short walk from the beach which has a couple of bars and restaurants. Apartments are basic but have everything you need for a week away. We usually had breakfast lunch here and ate out at night. George, our host, was attentive and really welcoming. He and his staff accommodated us when our travel plans changed which we were so grateful for. I can't recommend Akis Apartments enough. There isn't hospitality like this anymore. We would love to return!

Clean, quiet and walking distance to the beach. A small supermarket at 50 meters away. Gardens and rooftops are brilliant and with a sea view! George kindly gifted fresh oven baked bread, local kumkat sweets, water and even local wine!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place, just a short walk from the beach with stunning sea views. The location was perfect for a relaxing holiday, and the peaceful surroundings made it even more special. What truly made our experience exceptional was the host, George. He was incredibly kind and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure everyone was comfortable and enjoying their time. You can really tell he cares about his guests. We were very happy with everything and would definitely love to come back!

The studio cleanliness was not quite to our standard. Quite dusty and cat hair in the room, our noses are sensitive to dust and animal hair so not too good.

George the host was amazing, super friendly and generous. Lots of extras provided in the food line, teabags, coffee, bread, wine and fresh apricots available off the trees in his garden. Good location near a good beach, access to and from carpark was a bit difficult, but similar to other properties in the area. At least there was offstreet parking available.

Just using this space to highlight the fact that, even though it's one km distant from the nearest bus station, DO NOT PLAN TO WALK. It's a very steep hill downward (towards the beach/accommodation). If you are having a backpack, it could be fine (but on the way up can be VERY challenging if you decide to walk) but with extra luggage it's a no-no. HOWEVER, George gave us some tips to make our lives easier (THANK YOU!) or else we'd have had a very frustrating experience traveling back and forth to the bus and the accommodation. Everything else was perfect!

5-minute walk to the beach. One of the most helpful and kind hosts I've ever met at a Bookings accommodation (George you are the best!) The kitchen is small, but equipped with enough stuff to prepare a meal. There's a cleaning lady cleaning stuff every day. A small grocery shop is there in 1 minute walking distance.

The apartment has everything you need, from a kettle to a hairdryer, to a fully stocked kitchenette. The best thing about it is the stunning sea views and outdoor area - we loved the garden. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach (a bit hilly but worth it) and there are some restaurants and a small supermarket (which has everything you need, even plant-based milk). George is a great host, super welcoming and helpful (helped us get transport to the airport etc). We would happily stay again! P.S. if you love cats then you’ll be in for a treat!

Very bad/ no WiFi inside Appartement. Outside it works fine. Just one Repeater should help here.

Very nice location. Close to supermarket and easy to reach wonderful sandy beach. Even for kids age of 5 and 7 no problem to walk the few meters downhill/uphill. The mosquito protection was perfect. We had not one in 7 days inside Appartement. George is a nice guy and his beautiful cats (and 2 baby cats) are missed by our daughters. It was a wonderful time. Thank you, George.

The only thing we didn't like was that the outside light through the door was very bright, illuminating the room at night.

George is the nicest person we met on the island. He brought us food and wine and was very supportive and uncomplicated.

Such a charming place run by the kindest man George. It brings him such joy to meet all his guests and to ensure that you are comfortable. His generosity with various treats during the stay makes it such a unique place. The location is great for a Pelekas stay as it’s just a bit above the beach and very close to mini market for quick trips. Rooms were clean and patio area made it perfect for having breakfast there.
