Ahinos Pollonia was truly a dream — even more beautiful and serene than the photos could ever capture. It was the most relaxing and welcoming home we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail was so thoughtfully taken care of by our wonderful host, Marianna. The villa was cleaned daily, and she went above and beyond in every way, from stocking the place with water and wine to even surprising us with a fresh breakfast pastry when she noticed we had slept in and missed getting one ourselves. The location was perfect, with charming restaurants and coffee spots just steps away. Marianna’s local connections made everything seamless. Whether it was dinner reservations or recommendations, she seemed to know everyone and made every arrangement with such ease. What truly made our stay unforgettable was Marianna herself. I had wanted to plan a surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday, and she was not only happy to help but genuinely excited. Her kindness, warmth, and joy made us feel like we weren’t just guests, but family. As perfect as Ahinos itself was, it was Marianna who stole our hearts. We left Pollonia not only in love with the space, but also deeply touched by her generosity and spirit. This stay was nothing short of magical, and we cannot wait to return.

Milos was the highlight of our entire trip, and the house we stayed in played a big part in that. Ahinos is simply amazing — right in front of the sea, with a breathtaking view that made every moment feel special. Pollonia is a lovely town, with several mini markets nearby, including a gourmet one for more demanding tastes. The restaurants are excellent and, to our surprise, more affordable than in other islands. Mariana is a wonderful host — warm, accessible, and truly present. She helped us discover the best beaches, recommended great restaurants, and her sweet dog Maestro brought so much joy to our children. This house and this island carved a special place in our hearts. We would definitely come back. Ahinos in Milos will forever be one of the highlights of a truly happy family vacation. Thank you Mariana! ❤️

The location was fabulous. Right on the water with a great outdoors space for hanging out, lounging in the sun, and enjoying the view of the harbor. The beds were comfortable, and the space was the perfect home-base between adventures on the island. Marianna our host was lovely and very responsive to our needs. As an added bonus, there was quaint little cafe next door where we could grab a bite to eat or have a coffee or a drink. I I cannot imagine staying anywhere else on Milos.

Nothing! This place is a dream!

My husband and I spent 2 weeks island hopping in Greece and Ahinos was by far our favorite accommodation! Marianna was so very welcoming and you can feel the love and thought she and her family put into this home. The bed was SO comfortable, the linens were luxurious, this place is a steal for how cozy and high end it feels. The whole place is soundproof, we slept like babies! I already miss waking up and lounging by the water, having lunch on the shaded porch and walking just a few minutes home after a great meal in town. Do yourself a favor and book this place and give the gardener (the host pup, Maestro) a pet from us! We 100% will be back!

The property is gorgeous. The location is perfect. Waking up to have coffee watching the fishing boats pass by before going for a swim on the virtually private beach off the garden was an experience we will never forget. From beginning to end , Marianna our host made us feel at home , Milos is the most beautiful island and Ahinos our home for 5 nights was perfect . It truely felt like home , so clean , so perfect in every way. The location is a 10 , the home a 10, Marianna would make us home made breakfast platters every morning - so unbelievably hospitable and delicious - everything was a 10. My husband and 2 young adult daughters absolutely loved it - would definitely recommend and go back ! I will hold these memories forever

It’s not a problem, but the kitchen area is tiny - so great for breakfast but not for cooking. Pollonia is full of great restaurants.

Amazing location and a wonderful host. A special place to stay in a lovely place. The view to the beach is beautiful and it is amazing to be able to,swim right out of the front gate, the deck area is amazing and perfect for relaxing. The bed is very comfortable and the room is dark and quiet. Marianna brought us lovely desserts and provided great local tips about things to do and places to see. 😄😍

We couldn't have chosen a more perfect property for our stay in lovely Pollonia. Private, clean, and simply but beautifully appointed with gorgeous views of the bay and downtown. And, the comfiest beds! But what made our stay so exceptional is the friendly and super responsive host, Marianna, who treated us like family, delivering scrumptious daily treats and a friendly hello. Ahinos feels like home, a truly special place.

Marianna was a great host. She was very responsive, brought us Greek pastries daily, and was easy to communicate with. The location is superb— private, steps from the sea, and a few minutes walk to downtown Pollonia. We loved hanging out in the back patio area watching the sea! The sunset is also easy to see from the beach a few minutes walk down the road. We had a blast and we definitely recommend staying here!

We loved our stay here - great location as within walking distance to everything, sea views, very clean, modern decor, comfortable bed, cafe/ wine bar next door which was handy but heard no noise from them. Charming host. Definitely recommend staying here. We enjoyed it just as much as the 5 star hotels we stayed at on other islands.

Nothing to be honest.

It is exactly like the photos. Functional clean close to the water and restaurants in town. Marianna is a caring and efficient host. I was apprehensive upon booking & concerned that there were so few reviews, but apparently it was booked for 2 months for 2 years by the same person, hence low number of reviews. It has space and scenic sitting areas outside. Perfect and we hope we can return one day.

We treasured our time at Ahinos. The home is in a wonderful location just past Pollonia beach, directly on the harbor with a covered back veranda for relaxing and meals, and with a private gate to the sea. The home itself is recently renovated and both beautiful and highly functional with lots of doors and windows with screens to allow a lovely breeze. Easy car parking down the street across from the beach. It is a short walk to village restaurants and a grocery store. All of Milos can be explored easily by car from Pollonia. Our host Marianna and her awesome dog made the experience even more special. She was generous, always available, incredibly thoughtful and kind, and simply a joy to talk with. We stayed in many places on four different islands, and Ahinos is the one we most look forward to returning to!

This was easily one of the best holiday rentals we have stayed in anywhere in the world. It was spotlessly clean, with daily housekeeping and great quality towels and linen. It was also much more spacious than I expected from the photos - with a generous lounge room and lots of space to relax outdoors. It is also in a perfect location - an easy walk to local restaurants and shops but peaceful, and with the ability to walk out the door and step straight into the ocean. Marianna was an excellent host and we particularly enjoyed the breakfasts she provided, which were different every day. I highly recommend Ahinos if you are visiting Milos!

We cries when we arrived and when we left. Such a beautiful property and what an amazing host Marianna. She was an angel. Shops were closed last Sunday and we didn’t have any more diapers… She called at least 10 people/ shops to find a solution. Will never forget! And the apartment is so beautiful.

Thé location was amazing, and the house was really cute, perfect for a couple! You are next door to all the restaurants and beach of Polonia, yet it offres privacy and calm. Marianna our hostess was amazing and went above and beyond to take care of us and make our stay pleasant and easy going.
