We were not allowed to use the beach chairs on the beach even if you see those in the website. That was very disappointing. I didn't understand why. Probably some guy in the hotel thought it is not convenient for him.

There was no dining options outside of breakfast. Breakfast was pretty basic and repetitive. There were also no activities.

People working in reception should be able to speak English. This wasn't the case in the hotel, at least with the majority of the employees.

I got a late deal at about 23% off, and it was still over-priced for what it is. Restaurant was pleasant right on beach but menu is restrictive in that you had to order a menu, meaning two starters were the same prices as two mains, all at higher than Paris prices. Morning buffet breakfast was fine food-wise but absolutely swarming, and ends too early. Hotel has seen better days cleanliness-wise and condition-wise.

Staff super nice and very helpful. Being beach-side is very nice. 'Transit room' was brilliant - even after check-out there is a full room with shower and bathroom where you can wheel your suitcases into, and be nice and clean for the evening flight departures. No extra charge and they give you a plushy beach towel.

The rooms are basic the kitchen is on the balcony. Old pots and pans, but enough for basic cooking.

This is a family hotel. Many families vacacioning, children & teens were well behaved and polite. Playful and not overly loud. The location on the beach was very convenient and near enough to walk to the center of Le Gosier. The staff was very helpful and although my French is very basic, they made the effort to communicate and help with my questions. Decent breakfast.

It seemed overpriced to me. Hotel needs freshening up. Restaurant closed at lunchtime.

Hotel well situated directly on beach. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Wifi functioned well throughout the property.

nice pool and beach, all very close. reception called us a taxi to the airport and allowed us to pay for a late check out.

The rooms are dated and lack professional detailing. But they are well maintained and clean. By dated, I mean that they are just old. By lack of professional detailing, I mean that the carpentry is rough. The tiling looks to have been done by an 8 yr old. The painting was homemade. Overall, Canella Beach is recommended and I would come back.

We stayed for 4 nights. The hotel has a good location outside LeGosier. It is close enough to town for activities, yet remote enough to be quiet. The nearly private beach is very nice. The pool and hottub are very inviting. The guy at the front desk was willing to speak good English. The breakfast buffet was pleasant, but not particularly good quality. I'm still listing it as a plus, because it is hard to complain while your sipping cappuccino watching the palm trees gently sway on a tropical beach.

Suite needed updating especially kitchen area. requested twin beds was told that was going to be arranged on arrival told we could only have double bed and sofa bed. A lot of facilities that were advertised were only available at the weekend i.e beach and lunch in the restaurant.

the bathroom was dirty, the room was never cleaned, and the staff refused at first to provide a blanket. When I insisted, they provided one, then demanded it back the following day. The towels for the beach are at the front desk, and they have to be returned rather than room cleaning taking care of them. The beach bar never opened during the afternoon on wed or thursday. Breakfast ends at 0930! The chickens are very noisy, and the outside kitchen on the balcony was damaged.

there were electrical hazards, non functioning outdoor kitchen, outlets falling out of wall, exposing dangerous love wires. shower door didn’t work. the staircases are kind of dangerous and the parking was taken up by non hotel guests. the set menu at the restaurant was disappointing and wifi didn’t work
