Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Welcoming atmosphere. They made me feel like part of the family. Giorgi arranged a driver to take me on a tour. And they shared their homemade wine and chacha with me - both very good!

GermanyOnly little downside is the smell of the drains in our bathroom and it did not have a window. Other than that everything was great!
The garden with pool and the dogs were so lovely, as well as the family. David made sure we had an unforgettable time, organising a wine tour and a dinner with some of the other guests. The food was amazing and it was so nice to learn more about Georgian culture and history. We would definitely stay again!

United KingdomAmazing guesthouse, located right in the heart of Signaghi. The family that run it are truly one of a kind, from the minute I arrived I felt at home and their warm hospitality could be felt throughout my stay. The rooms are very comfortable, make sure to attend a Supra (Georgian dinner) which the guesthouse host and they also offer wine tours. This is the kind of place that you book for one night and immediately want to extend✨

United KingdomNothing, all perfect.
We were greeted like long lost friends when we stayed at Zandarshvili Guest House. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such fabulous hospitality - treated to delicious homemade wine and cha cha, along with the most amazing Georgian cheeses and breads and apricots, all served on their beautiful terrace overlooking hills and countryside. The room itself was super clean and very cosy and comfortable, with its own bathroom and air con. We were lucky enough to enjoy the most delicious dinner ever that same evening (the aubergine rolls are magical!) along with lots more homemade wine…and Mrs Zandarshvili’s son, George, was great as our tamada. David, her other son was so helpful too, and the whole family are always there on hand to help ensure you have a great stay. I honestly cannot recommend their place highly enough…we originally booked for just one night but within 20 minutes of arriving we both said ‘let’s book an extra night here’ we would have stayed a whole week if our schedule has allowed it. And let’s not forget the family’s 2 lovely dogs who enjoy games of throwing stones etc, all added to the magic of one of our time there.

United KingdomClean and comfortable guesthouse. The real highlight though is the family who run it, three generations of wonderful people who made us feel at home. Make sure you have dinner in the evening as the food and wine was delicious and it was great talking with the family and other guests.

IranWe stayed here for one night as a family trip, and it was a very pleasant experience. The highlight of the place is definitely its beautiful and relaxing view. The apartment itself was cozy, clean, and well-maintained. The location is excellent — just a few minutes' walk from major attractions. It also has private parking, which was very convenient for us as we were traveling by car. Many thanks to the kind and helpful host. Highly recommended!

NetherlandsThe room itself was fine but could be a tiny bit more comfortable, especially the pillows. Also a bedside light would be nice.
You don’t book this guesthouse because the rooms are so good (they’re fine) but for the great experience of being invited to a Georgian ‘supra’ by this welcoming family! Food, wine and chacha keep coming until you can’t anymore and it’s super nice to get the tradition of the supra explained and make new friends with the other guests, while enjoying amazing sunset views over the Caucasus.

IndiaPlace was messy and shabby. The owners personal living quarters was not maintained . Clothes lying around and their personal belongings all over which was visible from the dining area. The breakfast table had a balcony outside which was untidy and clogged with their home stuff. This could be cleaned up and a couple of chairs kept outside for guests to enjoy the views
View from the main balcony was exceptional but most rooms don’t have a good view. Biggest plus point was the food which was good and the tradition of bringing guests together for the evening meal. The wine was very generous
