The shower. There was a bit of mold on the ceiling due to the humidity and a few hairs left from the previous guests. It wasn’t too bad, but good to bring it to their attention.

The views from my room were amazing. Also really liked the lounge area and the breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly. Overall I loved my stay there and I would definitely recommend it to others. Be warned that it is a bit higher up the mountain so it’s a 10 min walk up from the main square.

Terrible smell in the room!! Even after complaining we were told its known…terrible sewerage smell in tye bathroom. Really not pleasant.

The second floor doesn't have a balcony, still there are windows that can be opened which gives a balcony feel.

Located in a calm village Stepantsminda, away from crowd,yet accessible to amenities like supermarkets in walkable distance. . Also close to Gergeti Trinity Church. Great mountain views.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were very nice and welcoming. The room was spacious, with comfortable beds and even a balcony, which was a great bonus. The views were lovely, and the breakfast was excellent — we especially enjoyed the Imerian Khachapuri and fresh melon. Highly recommended!

Very basic despite four stars. Only one electric socket near the bed: you either turn on the nightstand lamp, or charge your device, but not both (unless you leave your device on the other side of the room, obviously, which one may consider a perk). No feet towel. The top of the bathroom hairdryer could use dusting.

Decent breakfast, nice staff, hard and comfy mattress. Definitely not an experience on it's own, but rather a place to rest overnight between sightseeing/hiking/skiing/etc.

The room was quite small so there wasn't much space for our luggage. There was only a basic clothes stand, no coat hangers, no chairs. The overhead shower sprayed water all over the bathroom and it took a long time for the water to drain. The walls are very thin so it was quite noisy.

We were given an upgrade to a room with a view straight across the valley to the Trinity church and Kazbek mountain - lovely to wake up to😊 The hotel appears quite new so our room was clean and fresh and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good, except it got quite crowded with the large tour groups that were staying here. There are some lounges and armchairs to chill out in and they played nice relaxing music.

The drainage in the shower and the sink are both going very slowly so it often takes a while for water to drain, I was some what nervous that if I shower too long, the bathroom could get flooded.

It is very conveniently located and easy to find, and it has a dining area with extremely good views of the mountains

- The first room we were assigned (on 2nd floor at the back of the building) was so noisy we struggled to sleep. The rain, cars, people chatting, cows and horses all contributed to the noise. The room was also very hot despite turning off all heating. After two nights we were moved to a mountain view room on the third floor and what a difference it made! Thank you to the staff who helped arrange that. - Breakfast was average and items ran out very quickly, such as hot water, juice and hot items.

A very good value for money option in a central location in town. Onsite parking was a real bonus and great views from the hotel.

Modest room facilities, no wardrobe or convenient place to put a suitcase and unpack, the staff were not particularly friendly.

Breakfasts were quite tasty, with a decent variety of dishes, including porridge.

I stayed at Mountain House Kazbegi in Stepantsminda and had a very positive experience. The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance to the town center, yet situated on a quiet street. The room was clean, spacious, and included a balcony with an impressive view of Mount Kazbek and the surrounding mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful, assisting with local information and tour arrangements. Breakfast was served at the table with a selection of fresh items, including yogurt, bread, eggs, and cheese. Overall, Mountain House Kazbegi offers comfortable accommodation with exceptional mountain views, making it a great choice for visitors to the area

missing storage space, no wardrobe for clothes, suitcase had to be left on the floor, sink and shower didn't drain, staff unwillingness to make coffee in the evening even though they had guests there (where is the Georgian hospitality?, a 4-star hotel has at least one coffee maker, nothing here...
