Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsA wonderful rural spot where you can truly unwind, with a warm welcome from the staff (many thanks to Paul, Tekla, and all the other team members - and also to all the dogs, especially Romeo and the new pup!). The attached brewery is worth a visit in its own right; we kept spotting their “Svia” beers all over the country afterward :-) Beautiful room with a balcony and a 180-degree view. Dinner is served at the adjoining ranch on the property, with (once again) a fantastic view over the valley and the wild horses. Breakfast is excellent and served at the table. From Lost Ridge Inn, you can easily walk to Sighnaghi (a great day trip). We’re so glad we were able to spend two nights here!

CanadaWe just want to mention to other travellers that he dinner we had at the related Café was not the best we had, so we would recommend having dinner somewhere else in the city, but absolutely do stay at the inn! Breakfast was great too :)
We loved everything about the inn!

Stunningly beautiful and relaxing. Our room over looked the hills and we watched a magnificent sunset from our balcony. We had both dinner and breakfast at the property, both of which were delicious. A memorable stay.

It’s a farm house type inn. Was quaint, bright and beautiful: Due to the weather one didn’t feel like spending too much time outdoors. Evening was very pleasant! Breakfast was excellent.

IndiaRoom was a bit too small for 2 of us with 2 suitcases 😅
Stunning property , cute rooms. A bit smaller than we’d have liked but everything else about this place made up for this small downer. The best breakfast we’ve ever had on a trip, kindest staff and co owners. Best getaway from the bustle of a town. Cut off with great views

The morning breakfast was top notch and the hosts were very chill and cooperative too! Beautiful scenery all around, you will find peace, comfort and warmth all at once here, wish we could've stayed for longer! It was perfect! :)

Plenty of hammocks to relax in and we had a delicious meal at the restaurant. The beers are tasty, staff are friendly and speak good English. Breakfast was amazing and there was so much food! United KingdomThe property is immaculate. Our room was very clean and comfortable- we really enjoyed sitting on the terrace just relaxing and reading. The restaurant serves absolutely delicious food and drink in a stunning setting- we particularly enjoyed the lentil schnitzels and also the IPA. We had a brilliant two-hour horse ride- our guide was very friendly, the views were beautiful and the horses were very well trained. Additionally we had a lot of fun making friends with the dogs and cats. There is lots of lovely outdoor space and I really enjoyed resting in a hammock whilst watching the horses happily munching on mulberries. The Lost Ridge is only a short walk away from Bodbe monastery, which is a very special place.

JordanThat we couldn't stay longer? :-D I don't think I can think of any real critique about this place. Maybe that since it is a house, it isn't as sound proofed as other places you might stay, so I guess just keep that in mind ;-)
This is one of my favorite stays in Georgia. The general vibes / decor are really welcoming and calming including the adorable backyard area where you can relax and enjoy the day. The staff was wonderful and the rooms are really comfortable. It goes without saying that if you are a beer enthusiast or just looking for a brief escape from the copious amounts of wine on your trip, you'll love this place. The biggest surprise was the affiliated restaurant a few meters from the inn. The food was amazing - which uses inputs from produce they grow on the properties. All around, it was just an amazing place to stay. Oh, if you have any games to donate, bring them. They have a few (chess, checkers) but some more would make it even better.

GeorgiaA Hidden Gem in Kakheti! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming little hotel in Kakheti, and it exceeded all my expectations. Nestled in a peaceful corner of the region, the hotel offers a cozy, beautifully maintained territory with inviting seating areas and swings that are perfect for relaxing and soaking in the serene atmosphere. One of the standout features is their own craft brewery—the beer is simply fantastic! Each variety is full of character and pairs perfectly with the laid-back ambiance of the place. Whether you're a beer lover or just enjoy quality local products, this is a must-try experience. And let’s talk about the breakfast—without exaggeration, it was one of the best I’ve had in all of Georgia. Fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared with local ingredients, it was the perfect way to start each day. If you're looking for an authentic and relaxing stay in Kakheti with a unique twist, this place is an absolute treasure. Highly recommended!

Excellent Breakfast prepared by local ladies. You could sense the love and care in every bite you take. All fresh products from the Ranch. The Food is amazing. Before we came to Georgia everybody said that the food is great. We tasted the traditional food in the city but at The Lost Ridge they took it to another level. The owners and staff are like a family and you can sense the warmth in how they treat you . We had an incident where my wife slipped and twisted her ankle. The owner Levan made sure that an English speaking employee Nitsa come with us to the Hospital and take care of all things, and they paid for our return taxi and offered us dinner and wine as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. 3 days at the Ridge showed us real Georgian Hospitality. Levan, Nits, Maya, Nick and all the rest we didn't catch your name, A BIG THANK YOU from Sabine and me. We will be back sure and soon.

United KingdomBooked a 2 hour horse ride but only got 1.5 hours. The ride itself was incredible but shame it wasn't the 2 hours expected. Can't fault this place otherwise.
The location was great - about a 10 minute drive to Signagi town but in a secluded area with spectacular views. The lodge itself was really beautiful. Great outdoor and communal space, loved the wine and beer options and good food choice at their restaurant. The rooms were spacious comfortable with beautiful terraces. I loved our stay and couldn't recommend more! Breakfast spread each morning was amazing with eggs, salad, cheese, bread, jams, fruit.
