Wish I’d stayed longer! Perhaps some guests won’t like having to leave their car at the car park and be ferried to the hotel. But actually it’s a great thing …who wants to be next to a car park?! And you rarely have to wait for the golf buggy.

Amazing stay! Absolutely stunning location. You’re in a forest with mountains towering over you and not a single development or road in the mountains. Marvellous room (paid for a basic one and wasn’t upgraded) with stunning views. Lots of lovely welcome food in the room. Lake is beautiful with feee pedlos and bikes to cycle round. The gym is old but very useable and in its own block near the pool. Breakfast is fabulous and the service was very good.

We found the restaurants, particularly the Georgian one, to be very disappointing. The breakfast was below average, the service was slow. The service in the Georgian restaurant was, unfortunately, the worst we have ever encountered; it was incredibly slow and inattentive, which was a real shame.

My husband and I just returned from a stay at Kvareli Lake Resort, and we are still dreaming about the views! This resort is, without a doubt, one of the most stunningly beautiful and romantic places we have ever visited in Georgia. The setting is absolute perfection. Waking up to the breathtaking panorama of the serene lake set against the dramatic backdrop of the Caucasus Mountains was worth every penny. The resort feels incredibly safe, secluded, and peaceful - it’s the ideal escape for anyone looking to disconnect and immerse themselves in nature and tranquility. Our room was cozy and inviting, and the bed was very comfortable, we struggled to get out of it each morning. The amenities throughout the property are top-notch and truly set this resort apart. We loved the amazing indoor and outdoor swimming pools - both were pristine and offered gorgeous views. We rented bikes one afternoon to explore the surrounding trails, and the absolute highlight was taking one of the complimentary pedal boats out on the lake. Gliding across the water surrounded by those mountains was an unforgettable experience.

I had a very pleasant stay at Kvareli Lake Resort. The location is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for relaxation. The facilities are well maintained, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff are very professional. Special thanks to Mr. Sandro, who was extremely helpful and professional. He kindly arranged a late check-out for me since my return flight was delayed, which made my stay much more comfortable. Overall, a very good experience and I would definitely recommend this resort.

The breakfast area tends to get crowded during peak hours. The restaurant staff is quite slow but responsive (ok English speakers), the outdoor pool needs little bit renovation

Amazing views - to the lake from one side, to the valley from the other. The hotel (especially A building) is very well designed and with great atmosphere, the indoor pool is great and the food was very good. Great facilities overall.

I think you need to separate children's and adult pools and zones, or at least give adult time after 7 pm children screaming at 10 pm in the pool and playing in the sauna do not contribute to the atmosphere and are simply not safe

I would add a bit more equipment for the gym, especially yoga and Pilates stuff and rugs. The rest is great!

The hotel is very nice, clean, comfortable, it looks modern and stylish, the views are just amazing and to the valley and to the lake. The food was GREAT: both breakfast and restaurants(European and Georgian). Bar is nice as well. And I really enjoyed the complimentary fresh and dried fruits in the room. 😇 The location is quiet and relaxing. Oh and spectacular 😍. The staff is friendly. There are lots of facilities on spot (2 pools, spa, paddle, gym, boats, bicycles, table tennis, etc. so, there lots of things to do.

The staff is generally not friendly and doesn’t speak good English or Russian (not all of them, of course, but I was unlucky). If you buy a bottle of wine, the staff doesn’t always offer a tasting, and they often serve it at the wrong temperature. As in many places in Georgia, you often need a lot of patience while waiting for your order. The staff isn’t proactive and doesn’t try to be helpful — if you need something, you have to insist. Don’t expect them to offer suggestions on their own. The bicycles are in poor condition — almost broken — and clearly need maintenance.

We have some nitpicks: The room did not have an iron, and the lights were either super bright ceiling lights or dark bed side lamps. It is not allowed to swim in the lake (because it's a reservoir). And the security guards when arriving with the car seemed to be confused about our arrival each time, even though we stayed at the place for 5 days.

Nestled between a lake and the valley, this resort hotel is beautifully situated. The facilities are spread between a couple buildings with minutes to walk or electric cars bringing you everywhere. Inside it is a serene but not stifling atmosphere, with plenty of facilities for entertainment (free water paddle boats, ping pong, air hockey). The staff is helpful. The room is not that large, but functional and offers an excellent view, our room with views both into the valley and the lake from the large balcony. We especially liked the breakfast, which both in quality and selection was excellent. From the European restaurant, we loved the classic burger and the pasta options.
