How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Our room wasn’t clean, no window for fresh air only a window into the corridor….no shelf and no rack for the clothes no decorative stuff and unfortunately no place to sit on except the really inconvenient mattresses….in the future with a nice decoration maybe it would work….but this time just absolutely basic
The location was nice and had a lot of potential for the future….the old building makes a nice atmosphere in the entry and the balcony and view over the city makes the place feel more special

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Isaka! The staff was very kind and always ready to help, especially Nick, the manager, who gave us great tips on where to try local Georgian food. The hotel was clean, peaceful, and felt very safe. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Tbilisi!

The hotel is in a very convenient location with easy access to tourist attractions. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. In terms of price-performance, it is a very good hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Isaka. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and has a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff were amazing — always ready to help with anything I needed and made me feel very welcome. The location is convenient for exploring the city. Overall, it’s a great value for the price. I highly recommend Hotel Isaka and would happily stay here again

They say it's a penthouse ... But it is a nightmare. Where to begin? False promises everywhere. First, they said we could check in early and leave the baggage and also that a car rental was possible. When we arrived, they told us there was no car rental and that we could leave the luggage unattended in a common area, ready from anyone to steal from us. The employee talked to us in a bad manner as well. Second, the pictures are not the same than the room you are assigned to. They are old and do not correspond with your room... If that cell could be called a room. When we arrive, other guests were complaining about the accommodation and told us to go away and find another place because this one was full of dirt and the owners did not take responsibility about it. Concerned, we asked the responsible person there and he told us "it is clean and it is a penthouse for the price you pay". Not very polite nor reaffirming but we gave them a chance. When we got our room, stains were everywhere around the wall, the shower sink did not drain, there was not air conditioner as advertised, sheets were dirty and the mattresses were OBVIOUSLY taken from the rubbish. Absolutely disgusting. Moreover, the door did not lock and we had to leave our belongings unattended. We asked the guy about this and he said "don't worry, it is safe" and left. Unbelievable. Do not go to this place! Ever! This accommodation should not be allowed due to health and safety reasons. Business is run like a mafia.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Isaka. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome right away. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. I especially liked the peaceful atmosphere. It’s a quiet spot, but still conveniently located to get around

It was really bad experience the wifi was not working the room was so bad and smelly . The towel and bed sheet were dirty no proper arrangement and we checked out one day earlier and requesting a compensation or refund of that.

I booked a room with a king-size bed but got a twin bed. When I asked the staff, they didn't seem pleased. I slept in a room next to the stairs. When other guests stayed, there was a loud noise from them walking up and down the stairs late at night. It made it difficult for me to sleep. The bed sheets smelled of urine.

Clean, comfortable rooms with a nice view. Quiet location but still close to the city center. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Tasty breakfast with good variety. Would definitely stay again!
