the people who run the hotel and restaurant are very kind and caring. on top of that the location is the best for visiting the lake.

Breakfast starts at 9 am which I find too late if you want to hike in the morning. The mattress of the bed was not comfortable so we didn't sleep so well at night. Keep in mind that you need to hike to reach the hotel

The view on the mountains and the valleys was idyllic, very cozy rooms and restaurant and tables to sit in front of the view. The food was good

There was no light outside, walking at night from the restaurant to the rooms was dark.

Bed was firm (very typical for the lodgings we've stayed at in Georgia), accommodation a little challenging to get to logistically because the juta road is closed (so have to arrange separate taxi) and then 20-30 min walk to the house from where the taxi lets you out. However, those logistical challenges are what gets you up close to the mountains with the fantastic views, so I think it was worth the effort but we should have packed a little lighter

It gets quite cold during night in the room, although there was a working radiator. Bring your beannie and wool socks.

Amazing place, the views from the room were stunning. The staff is very friendly and speaks English. Food is also good and reasonably priced (given the hard to reach location). Rooms are clean, albeit small.

The walls of the rooms with bunkbeds are very thin, a after 22.00 silent policy would fit the location.

The views are amazing! The people are friendly and its just fantastic to stay after hiking and enjoy the beautiful environment after most toerist left.

The property is absolutely breathtaking. At night, free horses gather in front of the restaurant, creating a fairytale-like atmosphere. However, we were not aware that this hotel hosts Israeli guests traveling directly from Israel. Given the historical moment we are living through, I believe it is important for hotels to take a stand and actively boycott this type of tourism, which is inevitably connected to the ongoing genocide and war crimes in Gaza. Please take this into consideration when deciding whether to book here.

There was a landslide, so the roads were blocked, had to walk a km. But that was okay too.

You pay for the location only. The cleaning was bad, and the shower is tiny. There were stains of someone else in the toilet. The attitude of the service workers was the worst. But the view is amazing and that’s what you pay for I guess
