Excellent, natural and special food, a jacuzzi heated by a fire - wow what a treat. Absolutely a place to come back to. And the hosts and staff - we miss you already

We absolutely loved our stay at Duende Hotel – it’s a true paradise nestled in the forest. The peaceful surroundings, fresh air, and serene atmosphere make it a perfect getaway spot to relax and recharge. One of the highlights was the private hot plunge pool – the ultimate treat after a long hike in the Lagodekhi National Park. The food was delicious and hearty, just what we needed after a day in nature. The hotel also offers its own wine. Initially, Tornike recommended we try the Kisi, but we went with the Tsinandali. It turned out to be an excellent choice – the wine was truly exceptional. However, I must admit – Tornike was absolutely right! We bought a bottle of Kisi before leaving and tried it later in Tbilisi – it was absolutely amazing. 10 out of 10! We will definitely return to this little piece of heaven – and not just once.

Nothing - it’s amazing!

It is so tranquil and peaceful here - what a spot! Loved our treehouse & the hot tub each evening is amazing. The food was some of the best from our entire time in Georgia - amazing. Beautiful countryside surrounds for some walks. Must visit spot! Amazing friendly staff!

It was an amazing place, amazing people! You basically living in the forest with high comfort and pleasure. They made everything for us, we never need to worry about anything, Breakfast was so good and lovely, you can feel they care about their guests, even in small details you can see that clearly. We should stayed there much longer! But we’ll definitely visit there again. Dinner was also amazing you have to eat there… This was a really magical experience Thank you for everything 🥰🥰🥰

Very minor detail, but lack of privacy for the bathroom (just separated by a curtain).

Beautiful location (even in the winter). Staff were phenomenal and the food was delicious (all locally sourced from the nearby village).

While this did not bother us, taller people may need to watch their heads inside the cottage in certain spaces like the entryway (think of it like a tiny house concept)

The name “disconnect” is exactly apt for this stay. The feeling of living in a forest on a riverside cottage with lush green surroundings, away from the world and your tv/phone screens and a tiny clean interior cannot be described unless experienced. The biggest highlight was the delicious food that they serve with curated 3 course meals so i would highly recommend having atleast one dinner in the hotel, healthy and tasty (the quantity is alot so definitely go hungry). The staff is also extremely helpful and friendly and they help you setup into your room, give you a quick tour of the property and provide bonfire, steam hotwater for the pool at request. Another great addition is the privacy you get as the hotel staff do not disturb your space and you are truly by yourself unless you call on them. Each cottage comes with its own pool, terrace private space on the ground floor!

I liked absolutely everything and enjoyed every single day of my stay!

The place is absolutely amazing! Located in an untouched piece of nature having all the facilities though. A perfect place for those who want to recharge and enjoy privacy, quite and nature. There are many beautiful places for hike around. The staff and the host are fantastic. All are really caring and sympathetic people always ready to help. I was staying for 5 days and was feeling at home there. It happened that I didn't feel well for some day during the stay and I am very thankful for the staff that they really worried about me and too a great care of me! Hot aroma tub is absolutely must have at this place. Food is homemade and very tasty! It is definitely one of the best places I have ever stayed at and I really hope to come back there!

The price. Because the price was MUCH higher than the other wonderful places we have stayed at in Georgia during the past 3 weeks, our expectations of the property were a lot higher. The private hot tub was a nice touch, but it was way too hot when we tried to use it at 8pm. We were not able to use it until the fire burned out and we left the lid off for 1 hour the following morning.

The property is beautiful, very serene and away from it all. The room was cute, quiet and comfortable and the food was delicious.

We had an amazing stay @duende. The area is very lovely and the most welcoming staff. Breakfast was very nice and also the Dinner we had. Treehouses are very cute.
