Only problem we're stairs and steps down to the bathroom as I a have knee problem but that us personal to me Only other thing is a choice of tea bags would of been good. My partner and I are not a fan of Tetley tea. We could of brought our own Yorkshire Tea I guess.
The location was perfect just 10 minute walk from the metro station. The decor was amazing decorated to a very high spec. The hosts were welcoming. Michael helped with suitcase. The breakfast and shower were amazing! Plenty of choice at breakfast. Very quick service also.

United KingdomOur stay at York House was conveniently close to The Dome and the sea front. We were able to park on the hotel frontage. Our room was at the rear of the hotel so was quiet. Our bed was comfy. We enjoyed a good breakfast with the option of a cooked breakfast, and fresh fruits and yogurts.

United KingdomThe toilet/shower squeezed into a corner gave rather limited manoeuvrability, but everything worked and the shower was gratifyingly powerful.
An amiable host (Michael) and a comfortable bed, and not too far from buses and Metro to get into central Newcastle-Gateshead, so ideal-ish for a one-night stay in order to attend a concert at The Glasshouse (necessitated by the lack of late train home on a Saturday!). Breakfast had wide-ranging possibilities.
