It was annoying that some Guests hadn’t washed up their dishes in the kitchen. The kitchen needed a clean up. The road adjacent was busy and noisy but didn’t stop me sleeping.

Best thing was the cafe/bar and nice well priced food. Also the friendliness of the staff was a plus. The bedding was fantastic , clean, fresh and crisp and the lovely walks in the area were a special feature.

Wifi is only available at the communal areas and not in the room. Check in time is 5pm, a bit too late for me however staff allowed us to leave our things before check in time so all is well.

Ample parking, clean toilets and showers, great self catering area. Good breakfast. Staff allowed us to leave our things in our room even though we came very early than the check-in time.

Speeding and loud cars close to the building. Car parking lot inside the courtyard but space available outside property.

Friendly and helpful staff. Environment conscious staff. Breakfast and diner. Good shower. Charity table. Water refill stations outside and inside.

The beds, the mattress were so thin that we all had a terrible night's sleep and all in back pain.

Location is fantastic, staff are brilliant and the place has a lovely feel to it! Food excellent, and facilities great.

There were some bugs in our tent (to be expected) but the tent door was left slightly ajar upon arrival and subsequently there were bugs in the beds and a massive spider lol. If you are afraid of bugs maybe book the pods lol.

This place was the perfect country stay! We stayed in a glamping tent and it was nice and clean. It is in a really beautiful area and the staff were so friendly.

The dorms were tooo squishy. Longroom 1 - 4 I think you should prioritise older ladies to bottom bunks. Getting up & down a ladder was difficult. Trying to sell another single room was silly. Also the light & power didn't work in the middle set of bunks TOP & BOTTOM bunks. Also no toilet paper for some time so we were limited to a toilet. Annoying!

I liked the location & the whole farm thing...

WiFi is only available in public spaces,so the reception and self catering kitchen gets the network. No monitoring after 10 pm,so teenagers are reckless for a certain period.

What a beautiful picturesque the hostel is located.Convenient location, barely 600-700 m walk from the train station. YHA always has comfortable beds and clean sheets. The staff is amazing, especially the woman handling the reception in the evening period. She is really sweet.

YHA South Downs was a perfect stop for us on our walk along the South Downs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were spotless. The food was delicious, especially breakfast. The building was beautiful but it is right next to a busy road and the traffic noise was present from very early in the morning.

Our (twin) room was road adjacent and the traffic noise was intrusive though they did provide ear plugs. Unfortunately I can't use earplugs.

Hot breakfast was decent and generous - a fairly typical fry

The ONLY downside would be the showers, which Is a Tiny walk-in shower, where you Havel barely place to put your things at. And at the time I was here, it did not drain well, so it flooded...

Location is beautiful british countryside, the staff Are super nice and friendly, beds are very comfortable, there is both kitchen and a Common Area where you can Cook your meals versus a little restaurant where you can get served.

It also had a kitchen if you wanted to cook your own food. Lots of outdoor seating options and places you could chill out including a lounge room full of sofas and board games.
