The room with a door onto the street didn't have have a good door lock which didn't give a very safe feeling.

The room was large and clean and had all the basic amenities. The hotel was located opposite the stagecoach/ bus stop and very convenient.

Height of summer good location & weather good. The lad that showed us round was 1st class, gave us all info we needed. Bathroom was great & so was shower. Clean room, beds comfortable & we used room to right. Even the stair climb for my hubby was fine.

Soundproofing wasn't great. There was no air freshener in the shared toilet

The hotel is on.a junction of two busy roads so it is quite noisy, also the beds are small for two persons

Very near the bus stop for St Andrew. Many Buses. Only 10 or 15 minutes to wait for a bus .

I'm not a fan of shared bathrooms, but this actually worked out quite nicely and the facilities were clean and tidy.

My bed was so comfortable! The room was clean and tidy. Plenty of space to put my things. The shared kitchen was amazing. It had everything you need! It's also a great place to stay for getting around the area. Bus stop is across the street, the train station is a 2 minute bus ride or 10 min walk. Very convenient if you're going to St Andrews–it's a 10 min bus ride. I loved my stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Toilet was a few stairs and two landings away. Not ideal in the night.

Helpful friendly non-intrusive staff. Really comfortable bed. Slept the best I have for ages.

Bit of chaos when we first got there, one of us had to drive circles around town while the other booked in and found out where to park. The traffic was so busy. Possibly would have been better to know where to park before ariving and then do the short walk back to the pub

Really liked the hotel. It was amazingly busy when we got there, room was great, staff helpful. Caparking was a little walk away but ok. Great location to explore this awesome historic town. We loved it.

Shared bathroom became very wet as it was very well used. It began the day as clean,though. Stair carpets were dirty and some of the wiring looked very makeshift. No food on site. Noisy location..

The window in our room didn’t close, letting in much noise from the street. The window in the shared bathroom didn’t open, which would have been convenient for ventilation.

There was a bit of an unpleasant smell in the bathroom was there all the time sewage type of smell kept door closed but it’s definitely something needs looked at not good at all.

Good location close to St Andrews and plenty parking staff were lovely very friendly and looking to help with anything. Big comfy bed.

Although clean and comfortable this place was let down by the fact that the sink produced a wretched stench of sewage which permeated the room from under the bathroom door. On inspection it appears there is no u bend or appropriate trap fitted. This quite ruined our sleep.

Convenient location, comfortable beds, decent size. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Noise from the pub was surprisingly tame, considering it was a busy Friday night.

Sharing a bathroom can have its drawbacks especially when people don’t clean up after themselves.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Parking is easy and ample. The room was clean and comfortable.

Stayed in the family room which was perfect for my teenage son and I. It had an en-suite bathroom and an adjacent kitchenette where we could prepare (and store) food.
