the evening meal menu could have been better ...we only had one evening meal ..would have had more if there had been more choice...or a specials board

Reasonable meals but wanted a Steak @ the Bull, but NO Prior to staying we was at HPB Henley, Beaumaris & did call in for a evening meal On my return home disappointed that we was not offered the FREE bottle of wine as per your e-mail, even though we paid £189/night

Although possibly difficult the price of £189/night the nearest car park quarter of a mile away @ £8, nor was any offer to contribute too

Characterful rooms and public areas.

The staff, without exception, were superb - friendly, helpful and totally professional. They went the extra mile in accommodating our 5 bicycles in storage.

Rooms comfy. Great shower. Good breakfast lots to choose from and cooked to order. Staff very friendly.

Menu wasn’t very appealing in restaurant. It used to have a great menu but what was on offer wasn’t really that appealing in my opinion. Staying in Wales no Welsh lamb no steaks no fresh fish. We booked as we’d eaten here years ago so thought we’d stay here and eat here, but it wasn’t that good anymore.

Would have preferred a walk-in shower instead of a bath.

Staff were amazing, room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Food was great. Location excellent, walking distance to everything.

The only negative was on our last night, the music & karaoke was a bit loud , but it was a Friday night and we are obviously old & boring!

Absolutely everything about our stay was spot on.Didnt want to leave.

Food was pricey and not great portion sizes also mine came out just warm, another had to be asked for well.intp the meal so ended up eating after rest of us

Townhouse room pretty good

The rest of the property was rundown looking and the breakfast was woeful

The room in the cottage was lovely and comfortable The cooked breakfast was good. Nice to have it freshly cooked.

Would have liked a bit more choice for the none cooked breakfast. Berries and more choice of cereals

The room was lovely (oddly called the Artful Dodger room), top floor; it was spacious, clean, quiet, with the requested walk in shower, & large double bed. We didn't eat here for dinner, & only ate breakfast the following morning; I had a cooked breakfast & it was excellent; service was great. Very friendly staff.

We were supplied with an electric fan to cool the room, but it was totally ineffective. We reported it to the manager the following morning at breakfast (nice chap) who made a note of it with a view to replacing it for future guests.

Stunning property, beautifully cleaned and the staff couldn’t do enough for you x we will absolutely be back and we’re so happy to have found you x
