Parking situation but we survived

It was all so smart, comfortable room which was unexpectedly serviced, breakfast was very good.

Self check in seems very impersonal compared to past experiences. Apart from our bedroom, the rest of the hotel, including breakfast room was very cold.

The restaurant and bar area was closed of an evening, which was disappointing. That said, there are plenty of places in walking distance to eat and drink. We were notified when making the booking the restaurant was closed, so it’s nothing to complain about. Don’t let this put you off staying, we have a lovely time staying there.

On way to the hotel, we received a welcome call from Nick who explained everything about arriving. This was very helpful and made us feel welcome. The rooms were ready on arrival, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast had several options and food cooked fresh to a high standard. Our hosts came across as kind people and very helpful. I have no hesitation recommending them.

Nick and Mark are wonderful, friendly hosts, and they remembered us after our stay early last year. The Meironydd is beautiful from the outside, and the inside is very tasteful with nods to the history of the hotel and town. Rooms are well equipped and comfortable, temperature is perfect. Breakfast is better than you'll get anywhere, so well cooked and nice choices for all requirements.

Hard to pick fault here… If I am being really picky is just that the bathroom was a little small, but that can’t be helped!

The beds were super comfortable, top-quality duvet and pillows Tasty breakfast, all tasted fresh! The staff (owners) were highly informative and friendly nothing felt a hassle. Location was cute, lots of local pubs Park is available at the co-op 2-minute walk down the road for £6 the whole weekend.

On Saturday night there was live music in the pub just outside. It went on until about 11pm and was very loud. Maybe this was just because it was a bank holiday!!

Location in centre of town, easy access to pubs . Breakfast was super, great food and excellent service.

This hotel is stunning and in a beautiful location. The perfect place for a cosy getaway. The staff were accommodating and so polite. The breakfast included was excellent with plenty of options and adaptations if needed. We would definitely stay here again!

The room was beautiful and the breakfast delicious. The owners were friendly and thoughtful. When I arrived in my room, the radio was on and tuned to BBC classical music; it was the perfect touch.

Nothing wrong with the property itself, however overspill of noise from nearby pubs/beer gardens may affect some guests.

Excellent breakfast setting us up for the day. The location is perfect in the lovely village of Dolgellau.

There was some exposed grippers on the carpet as you enter the ensuite which could have hurt bare feet.

We loved everything about the stay. We came with family, one who had the room at the front - can't remember the name but it was so luxurious! our room was lovely as well, just not as lovely.

Lovely breakfast and very central location. The rooms had excellent tea and coffee supplies which were topped up regularly.

Wi-fi not great, maybe a bigger TV in the room but not major issues.

Great location, nice comfortable rooms. Great breakfast, although could prob do with adding baked beans and maybe a hash brown on the full Welsh breakfast.

Nothing to dislike.

Ideally located, beautiful property. Lovely welcoming hosts. The room was tastefully presented and in character. Lovely dining room where an equally excellent breakfast was served by warm friendly staff. Highly recommended place to stay.
