Great location on the sea front - easy walk to the centre and were able to park for free on the street. We were early but the owner very kindly checked us in early. Comfortable stay.

Nothing really, just some very very minor things like two hooks to hang towels up instead of one!

Laura the manager was really easy to deal with. There was plenty of communication with a relaxed vibe. The location was great with some restaurants, pubs and a convenience store all very close. The room was clean and well maintained and was very quiet despite it being on a busy road across from the water. You could walk to the Southend Pier area but it was still far enough away from it so you weren't bothered by the crowds going there. It was a very pleasant stay,

The hot water system. There was enough hot water for a bath but none left for rinsing. I had to rinse my hair in cold water.

Everything needed for a short stay. Tea and coffee provided.

Needs a mirror above chest of large drawers ( room. 4) to do makeup and style hair with straightners etc. Only mirror in bathroom and no sockets for obvious safety reasons to plug in straightners.

The hosts manner, quite blunt.... had to ask for heating to be put on & was questioned, why is this to cold, I replied yes, her opinion was it wasn't & it was,on a timer.... advised to use the heater in the room instead.... not impressed

My only issue with it was the hot water switch, was weird, and we often ran out mid shower.

Very cosy, had everything we needed. Perfect for me and my girlfriend’s first getaway together. She loved it and wishes to come back again in the future.

Not a dislike really, but it would have been lovely to have a bench or table and chairs so we could sit on front patio. We had nice sunny weather and would have liked to sit outside with a cuppa.

A small bedside table or shelf on the right hand side and a mirror in the main room would have made it perfect. But these are minor gripes and it was a great room anyway.

Perfect little apartment with everything you need. Very quiet at night and a very comfortable bed. Great sea view too!

Bit noisy at the back with rattling. Bed right next to fridge which was a bit noisy. Bedside lamp too dim to read by so had to keep main light on. No mirror in bedroom area to see to dry hair. Would have been better to do away with kitchennete and have comfy chairs. Blind didn't black out the room so was fairly light at 4am

Clean and tidy studio apartment with kitchenette. Comfortable bed, lashings of hot water in separate bathroom. Would recommend and return.

Heating was controlled by the owner, so after being out for most of the day and coming back late at night, the room was freezing cold (temperature outside was about 4°). It was uncomfortable and sleepless night. Laura was great and gave us a portable heater the next day, so we were a bit warmer. Bedside lamp was not working, and the hob when on was producing smoke (not cleaned properly right in the middle of the ring). There is no iron or hairdryer, so if you plan to stay longer, bring your own.

Good location, and if you are lucky, you can get the sea view. Laura was a great host.

Seafront location, disturbed by drunkard couple yelling going past at 5am. Road traffic noise quite loud, but we're just not used to that type of noise. That's no fault of Wynnstay.

Clean comfy, and suitable for basic self catering. Every thing needed. Nice large bright room.
