    Can't fault it.

Good location for Hadrian's wall. High spec room. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds. Smart TV. Easy 20 min walking path into Haltwhistle. Lots of choices for eating out. Fantastic breakfast. Linda is a great host. Even has microplastic free tea bags.

Linda was a great host. Also, great services (real milk and soda in fridge on arrival, m/wave, crockery, etc.). Comfy beds, strong shower, and very good cooked beaky.

As on a farm, a fly catcher would have been good. Sink in kitchenette would have made score 100% - you had to fill your kettle from the toilet sink.

All good except 2 points below.

Beautiful location - rural yet withing 30 minute walk of town centre on quiet tracks/roads. Host very patient and flexible as our arrival time kept getting put back. Big rooms, well equipped for light self-catering.

Not a complaint, but my wife likes to sit outside and read when the weather is good, and thought our room opened up onto an outdoor seating area. It looked like our room, out of the 3 in line, didn't have that option, unlike the other 2. Never mind, better luck next time!

Our room was very cosy, clean and comfortable with extras such as microwave oven, fridge (with fresh milk) toaster and crockery / cutlery for 2. Linda made a point of making us welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent. The location suited us for our short stay in the area.

First the location; set in the countryside above Haltwhistle meant that there were fabulous views across the fields. Linda, the hostess couldn't be more welcoming and was a delight to talk to about the area in general, and the farm in particular. The room was extremely well equipped with the usual tea and coffee making facilities, but also included items not normally found in a B&B, such as a fridge, toaster and microwave. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a really good night's sleep. Finally the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had with a selection of fresh fruit and cereals as well as croissants, jams and many other items, too many to list, but the crowning glory was the cooked, full Northumberland breakfast. This alone makes a return visit a must.
