Waiting at the traffic light to come and go was a bit of a pain but we know that can’t be helped 🤣 The overall appearance of the hotel seemed a little tired, could perhaps do with a freshIng up…. Having a buffet style breakfast available at the restaurant would be a big plus as that’s usually a highlight of an overnight stay for us.

Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The meals were delicious and very good value for money and our apartment was very comfortable and spacious. We loved the look of the lodges and would definitely like to stay in one should we return to the area.

The only downside was paying extra to rent pool towels as I thought this should've been included.

The location was perfect for a little getaway with all the amenities you could need on site. Staff were lovely and helpful. Rooms were well equipped with all we needed.

Poor customer service, bety inflexible on checkout time

Beautiful location, Beautiful buildings and grounds. Staff were not very helpful, asked for late checkout and had to pay for one hour with no flexibility for another hour. Requested a few things thd staff didnt return on. Customer service not great. Enjoyed the leisure facilities great for a fanilh break

Nothing major, only potential room for improvement would be water stations in the pool/spa area with having a steam room and sauna to help with the heat. Minor observation this though!

The venue was beautiful, set in a lovely countryside with plenty to do on site. The staff were really friendly, helpful and well mannered. The pricing of the room was great value for money!

Staff need a personality

Apartments are amazing. We were in Room 1, had two bathrooms. Kitchen had every modern appliance including washing machine. Can sleep 4 in bed & sofa bed. Didn’t eat but there are fresh food available to purchase from reception to use in your apartment

Appartment-it was huge and well stocked. Swimming pool/Leisure centre- clean and well maintained. Activities-croquet, mini golf, quiz night.

1 fault - Check-in issues - we arrived at 2pm and although this was 2 hrs before check-in time, we were told our apartment was being cleaned right then so it wouldn't be long. We waited until 3pm, still nothing. We checked at 4pm and it still wasn't ready. We then had to leave as we were late for an appointment elsewhere. If we just had been told 4pm, then we would have left earlier. We then eventually got a text at 5pm telling us we could check in, so 3 hrs later after we were told it wouldn't be long, and 1 hour after we were entitled to check in.

Quick overnight stay after an event at the Arboretum, Everything was fab, Sunday lunch superb and very reasonably priced for a hotel.

The restaurant and bar were not open on Monday and Tuesday evening.

Great location. Surrounded by countryside and very quiet. The 'apartment' was a 2 level property with a large open plan kitchen, dining area and living area that had doors opening to a small private patio with searing. The kitchen was well appointed, the dining table was big enough for 6 and there were 2 comfy sofas. Lots of room to spread ourselves out. The double and twin bedrooms were comfy and spacious. The single room was quite small but OK for one. It was very convenient for visiting Lichfield and tha National Memorial Arboretum. We had fun playing crazy golf.

Trip was just three days and could have been longer

Amazing location and facilities at the location. Electric car charging was also economical and worked well. Went as a group of 8 families with children of different age groups. Enjoyed a lot and most comfortable ones we have been on.The houses/apartments were quite bigger than what we expected. We felt we could have stayed a couple of more days as well. I will look forward to returning to this wonderful property!

We were looking for somewhere nice to stop off when travelling from France to Scotland and this was perfect! We always like to look for something different. Trying to find something for 2 adults & 3 kids can be hard and most places is 2 rooms. These 2 bedroom apartments are perfect. The price was amazing too.
