Peace and quiet , everything you needed was there , lots of kitchen utensils , airfryer , spice rack , oil , we usually have to take kitchen roll , toilet roll etc but this was all there .

Can't really think of anything to complain about really.

The location was ideal for the nature of our trip. The cottage had everything we needed and more. Hot tub spot on. Big beds. Clean. Four gorgeous Jack Russells were there to greet us, wished they could've stayed in the cottage with us TBH. The place is spot on and hoping to go back with my partner sometime as she'd love it.

Beautiful setting, close to Hadrian's wall and lots of fantastic sites close by car. The house is really clean and has everything you could need. Really lovely decor and looked after. The hot tub was an amazing treat and my children really loved the experience. We will be back :) Nicola made a real effort to say hi too which is lovely. X

I think the back fence and table had just been creosoted because the smell on Friday evening was very strong- we didn’t stay in the hot tub very long because of it ! The back garden area is shared.

A personal preference- another frying pan/ pans that weren’t scratched and some kitchen tongs would be appreciated if we returned as we did all our cooking at the cottage and struggled with what was there.

What a beautiful cottage in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by farm animals and birds. The birds were amazing to watch from the hot tub. Inside the cottage was cosy and well decorated.

Couldn't fault it!

Absolutely perfect for a quiet retreat in the countryside, the cottage is beautifully furnished to a high standard. It was clean and comfy, dog friendly, the hot tub was lovely and relaxing. There was everything we needed in the cottage and I would definitely recommend staying here!

Didn't bother us personally but there were lots of birds (swifts? Swallows?) nesting in the eaves of the house- possibly worth mentioning for bookings made in spring/summer as some people can be worried about birds

Beautiful rural location, the cottage was clean and comfortable and we loved the green theme, everyone we spoke to on farm was friendly and helpful. The gorgeous weather was a plus!

Only down side was the pillows were not great - the bed itself self was really comfy and the bedding etc super soft but the pillows weren’t the best and I couldn’t sleep properly on them.

Gorgeously decorated, comfortable beds and sofas and in a stunning rural location with amazing views and a lovely hot tub. Also loads of nice touches like games, dvds, supplies in the kitchen etc. Would definitely like to return.

Not easy to find! The layout inside was awkward. Only one full bathroom upstairs. Master and half bathroom and kitchen on main, second bedroom and living room with dining table on second floor.

Very quiet and extremely friendly hosts who live onsite. A unique experience staying on a working farm.

The garden was quite overgrown with dog poo in the long grass, Nicola had said she attempted to mow it but the mower blew up on that morning.

Beautiful location close to Hadrians wall which is what we wanted to see. The house was beautifully and tastefully decorated with all kitchen accessories even an air fryer. No dishwasher but we were only there one night so it was OK. Nicola was very friendly, knowledgeable about the area which was helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, she lived next door so was close by if needed. Beautiful weather so we brought a disposable BBQ with us and Nicola kindly allowed us to light it outside her back door as there was nowhere suitable on our side.

Location is beautiful, you can see for miles. Lots of lovley walks close by. The living room is a great size with very comfortable sofas, and the beds are both huge and very comfy.

Wonderful location,dog friendly but remember this is a farm location so there are restrictions with great views !! cottage is beautifully appointed with downstairs bedroom and toilet great for the older guests upstairs the lounge is spacious and well equipped, upstairs bedroom is large and comfortable the toilet with walk in shower (slightly dated) free standing bath are delightful highly recommend

Can't list any faults, the property is beautiful. Host was super friendly on arrival. Was well equipped and included little things like milk, tea, coffee etc. Some firewood would have been nice for the log burner in the bedroom but was unsure whether it was in use.

Beautiful remote location surrounded by roaming cows and sheep. Lovely cosy cottage with hot tub and beautiful decor inside. Whole stay was outstanding and would love to return again.

The property is beautiful, in a gorgeous location. It had everything we needed as a family of two adults, two children and our family dog. It was cosy, a real home from home feeling. The hot tub was a hit with us and our oldest son, so were the board games.

This was honestly one of the best little stays I've ever had anywhere. Gorgeous property, meticulously decorated and so beautifully furnished throughout. There's stunning touches throughout the property. The hot tub is a huge bonus and truly made our stay. There wasn't a single thing I didn't love about this cottage!!

Remote location on working farm, but good location for exploring Hadrians wall. We stayed three nights. Large cottage in part of main farm building - with two double bedrooms, large sitting room with big TV, immaculate kitchen, upstairs bathroom/toilet and additional toilet downstairs. Very comfortable. Private hot tub outside downstairs bedroom, available all the time. Friendly hosts. Great stay!
