Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe room was tiny with minimal airflow. It was a first floor room and it didn’t feel safe to leave the window open to the street front while I went to sleep. I had a room with separate bathroom - which wasn’t as close to the room as expected. The room was clean but had stains on the carpet and scuffed walk marks. It looks like it needs a bit of TLC. The bathroom was tiny and has been modernised recently, but there was a quite a bit of mould in the grout around the shower.
The location was great. It was a quick walk into Hyde park, restaurants and shopping. The room looked tired but there was no dust and the furniture was neatly presented. It had a beautiful floor to ceiling window that opens (not just for decoration).

United KingdomDrains for sink and shower were very slow to drain and we where worried about overflowing each time either were used. Beds were uncomfortable and pillows looked more plump in pictures. We where also not told that there would workmen working on outside balconies early hours of the morning with no warning.
Tea and coffee facilities in room was nice and came with biscuits. The room was clean although walls need some tlc. The office staff were friendly and gave out complimentary pastries. The location was perfect for getting about London.

NetherlandsThe heater couldn’t be turned off while the room temperature was already very warm but the staff helped us by turning off the central heating system, so the problem was solved. The room was still warm but they provided fans. They provided only one toilet paper roll for 4 guests with 2 days stay, this should not be something for the guest to request. Very annoying when you realised it too late. Housekeeping did came to the room and exchanged the towels but strangely they didn’t bother to tidy up any of the beds at all.
Great location, helpful 24/7 front desk staff.

PolandThe stairs to the room were crazy steep and not safe imho. The floor in the room was riddiculously uneven. The whole room, bathroom especially, had a really dated feel. And beware the noise - the window did nothing to mute the street noise and there was plenty of it. Cherry on the cake? A green light (emergency route mark I think) in the room (!) which could not be shut off and which was incredibly annoying. I have never encountered that in any of the hotels I stayed in,
Location of the hotel is great. Close to Underground and some of the attractions, like Madame Tussaud's, are within walking distance. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful.
