Our bathroom lacked space for our vanity and cosmetic items. No place to put your wash bags. It’s not very comfortable to get organized However, manageable

We forgot that fresh milk would be delivered in the morning, so we missed out on using that ( our fault!). Such a lovely touch to give to guests.

We had a wonderful check in and an unexpected room upgrade with a beautiful view onto the countryside. There was an event happening during our stay but there was always plenty of staff around to be attentive at the bar. Our dinner was delicious and breakfast was also lovely. There was a continental breakfast option as well as being able to order hot items from the menu which were very good. The following day, we wandered by the hotel dining pods and brook, making our way to the field behind the hotel for a short walk.

The bar closed and nobody told us. As we were celebrating, as special occasion, we were going to have a night cap after our meal in the bar. They forgot to ring the bell and as we were in one of the dining pods outside. No member of staff informed us. Disappointing ☹️

It was comfortable and relaxed

The room was underwhelming, we upgraded to king suite and were disappointed with the size, it was small and very expensive for what it was. Staff were pleasant but we were there for our Wedding, not one of them congratulated us, I feel like the experience could have been made better for us especially celebrating such an important day in our lives.

Staff weren’t overly friendly and I would expect higher levels of customer interaction and interest from them to match the decor and food standards.

Beautiful hotel - decor super stylish and tasteful and in keeping with countryside surrounding. Comfy beds, great coffee and friendly staff. Lovely walks in the area and the breakfast was amazing. Loved it all!

The rooms were a tad small. The bathroom door and area can do with better privacy The fact that the party area can make the hotel rooms quite noisy, as we found out. In all fairness, the hotel had informed us in advance willing to move us, but that was not possible for us to do.

Well located, cosy and has a nice character. The area by the stream is very charming.

Damp smell in the bathroom of the room we had ( Hamlet) didnt even go with windows open, poor lighting in the bedroom and bathroom to put on make up. No towel rail just hooks which may add to the dampness because towels stay damp.

The relaxed atmosphere, comfortable bed and good food in the restaurant. Lovely view and nice touches in the room e.g radio and very helpful staff. It wasnice to receive an upgrade much appreciated.

Only criticism - loud background music. I came here partly to escape artificial noise and would love there to be no background music at all
