Few issues with some of the facilities such as no hot water in the sinks, some of the crokery was dirty and a broken toilet seat in one of the pods we booked so unable so sit on it. However, we made do and got on with our trip. Could probably use a really good deep clean. Would recommend taking your own towels.

Double bed was a little small for us.

Very tranquil farm & open countryside setting, but in easy reach of Hadrian's Wall, Kielder Water, Hexham and the Northumberland coast, all of which we visited in our 5 days. Attractive and well-equipped pod with excellent views - well screened from other 2 pods on site. We enjoyed watching sheep being moved across the farm and the hay harvest. Quiet, with dark skies.

It wasn’t that clean. The windows in the door you could see had not been cleaned for a long time and the shower had some mould / black marks in the shower and outside on the floor.

We liked it all

If you've not been glamping before, but have seen the extreme versions on TV, eg 300 yard walk to compost loo and shared shower, think again. Our pod had ensuite facilities. Large shower area, loo and wash basin. The bed and sofa bed were very comfy, There was cutlery and crockery for 4 people, easily managed hob, little electric oven toaster and kettle as well as satellite tv The views are fantastic over the Northumbrian hills. At night (on a clear night which we didn't see) the stars are apparently brilliant. There is a fire pit and starter pack outside, and trestle table and forms to eat al fresco or take in the views/ stars. There is no wifi, but the local pub is only a fifteen minute walk/ five minute drive and has wifi available, as well as meals if you can't be bothered to self cater. All in all a very pleasant experience

Only downside for us was the flies, which is to be expected in its location and while there was a swatter provided maybe a tin of fly spray.

Such a beautiful little pod in a fantastic location. So lovely to just switch off and sit outside with the sheep. Sorry we couldnt write in the guest book, we couldnt find a pen.

Wasn’t keen on the mattress of the bed bit too firm for me but that’s just personal preference.

Loved the outside area with bench and the firepit, with scenery and sheep right as you stepped out the door. Facilities in the pod were great too.

A little mat inside would have helped as the outside mat was soaked with the rain and nothing to dry feet on. Other than that, it was wonderful

Absolutely beautiful location ❤️ tea and coffee was a lovely touch. Pod was so warm and cosy. My son stole the queen bed and said it was a really comfortable bed. All agreed the shower was amazing. Would definitely stay again ❤️

The bed could have been more comfortable. The linen was washed cleaned but would have been better laundered.

Brilliant location. Everything you would expect from a Shepherd's Hut. Great fire pit. Facilities were good, including the bathroom. Logs were provided but recommend taking along extra.
