Sian was an excellent host, very friendly and welcoming and the room was beautifully clean with tasteful furnishings. The place itself is about a 15 minute drive from Whitby so it was an ideal place to use as a base to explore the coastline. Sian went above and beyond to make sure our stay was an enjoyable one, on arrival there was a fresh scone with clotted cream and jam in the fridge, toiletries in the bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and Sian even gave us some of her hen’s eggs to take home with us. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, highly recommended.

Lovely welcome Amazing place,quiet and relaxing watching the animals from our window. Delicious scones left in the fridge for us on arrival. Comfy bed and great shower. Would highly recommend to stay there.

The accomodation was exceptional. Beautifully presented, clean and comfortable. The host, Sian, was friendly, attentive and very welcoming and we loved the little extra touches such as the scones, milk and bottled water. The breakfast was delicious too! We highly recommend this accomodation to anyone visiting the Whitby area.

Leaving to go home!

Warm welcome with surprise scones, jam and cream in fridge. Friendly, helpful, hostess with excellent communication, be it directions to the Farm, breakfast ordering or responding to texts. Breakfast - the 3 options we tried were all delicious, made using quality ingredients and very good vfm. Delivered to the cottage at time requested by us. Tranquil atmosphere. Nature on the doorstep birds and farm animals. Excellent shower. Tastefully decorated room and ensuite. Parking directly outside the door.

There is nothing not to like!

The spacious, well-appointed room and excellent bathroom make for a comfortable stay. The location is great and super quiet, perfect for visiting the North Yorkshire Coast. The lovely breakfast, delivered to the room by the wonderful host Sian, is a lovely touch.

It was all perfect!

Overall a gorgeous stay at such a hidden gem! Sian was very welcoming to her beautiful property, the attention to detail and little extras were carefully thought out. The courtyard room offered everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was a real treat with fresh local produce! We will absolutely be back, thank you so much!

Very quite and peaceful location with beautiful views set within a small village with a local pub. Our room was very spacious as was the bathroom and spotlessly clean. It was tastefully decorated and well equiped with everything we needed. Our breakfast was delivered to our room each morning at a time of our choosing. The breakfast menu provided a good choice which was well cooked and beautifully presented. Our host Sian was very welcoming and friendly. When we arrived there was tea, coffee and some milk in the small fridge. Sian brought a delicious cream scone to our room which was a nice touch. She clearly enjoys hosting and can't do enough for her guest. I would definately stay here again and recommend to others.

Stylish and comfy accommodation which is just a short drive from Whitby (15 mins). The room was spotless and the shower / bathroom was spacious and well kitted out. It was useful to have a kettle and a small fridge. The owner was very friendly, and we got a free breakfast and some eggs to take home! We enjoyed our excellent stay at White House Farm
