There were a lot of cobwebs around the house on the ceilings. Some of the appliances were a bit tired and dated. It was unfortunate that as we were there during a heatwave, the heat in the house was a real problem. A parasol for the outdoor tables would be recommended. While this is beyond their control, the road leading to the property has fallen onto serious disrepair and was a struggle to get down.

The location is isolated and very peaceful. The views were absolutely fantastic. The house was nice and open. We were provided everything we could have possibly needed.

The kitchen was well stocked with basics and equipment. Lovely living area with plenty of space for everyone. Dinner table was nice and big.

Location is beyond great, quiet, peaceful, stunning views, lovely hosts, huge garden, private, beside the loch. House has everything needed, welcome gift.

The location was excellent, private and lochside. The hot tub has the best view ever! it was a lot further into the forest than I was expecting but this just added to the excitement. after a few days of outings, it is easier to reverse down the drive and park in front of the container .

Some bits of the house are stunning and others shabby, like the kitchen work surfaces all peeling off and paint coming off the bathroom ceiling. It seems like a huge price to pay for a week in a house that needs this sort of maintenance.

Beautiful location and huge gardens, which was fantastic. House was a good size and the main bedroom was enormous. Really loved the hot tub, too, it was good to know that it's being maintained regularly

Would love a cosy blanket or 2 but absolutley understand the challenges that presents post covid so teeny-tiny thing. Would absolutely recommend, we just used the cost quilts intead.

Early June in Scotland, there were a LOT of midges! I also picked a couple of ticks off the dog. Not deal breakers by any means, the cottage was lovely, but be aware!

Amazing location, hot tub and sauna were a bonus. Great place to chill with the family. Perfect for the dogs too.

Nothing we had a lovely time and the property is great. Only thing I would mention to anyone travelling there is there isn't a big supermarket nearby so plan ahead if you need lots of groceries

The house is beautiful and had everything we needed for a family trip away. The instructions were all very clear. It was a gorgeous place to wake up every morning. There was nothing quite like being in the hot tub and overlooking the Loch. The hosts were very quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and we'll be back.

The actual road to the cottage from the main road is not tarmacked so be warned to be extra careful with your driving if you're in a large vehicle should be no problem but ours was a small one so the last couple of 100 yards was awkward.

Everything about the cottage was superb from the moment you arrive with the gardens the views of the loch the mountains just blissful then you enter the cottage which is just fabulous.
