How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Driving to the location - need a sat nav certainly - and a bit of luck with the traffic !!
The Apartment was first class - and the Host (Ben) supplied many things - including breakfast cereal, milk champagne - very nice unexpected touches - beds / sofa were very comfortable - well equiped and clean A Very Nice apartment - would book again

Excellent facilities, comfortable, nice decor, airy. Nice touches with toiletries, prosecco, lots of fans, lovely bedding, spotless! Also, as we were there for a concert, all the local hotels, etc, increased their prices by 300 - 400%, This owner remained dignified and selfless, and for us, that didn't go unnoticed!

Amazing apartment. Beautifully decorated and conveniently situated. Lovely touch with the complimentary food. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again. Thanks Tom for your warm welcome on arrival.

Only 2 minor dislikes which were the sink leaking water onto shelf below, and the spatula head kept falling off while cooking ,I also have to say these minor things did not really bother us so thanx again
The location was perfect for what we were doing,everywhere was within easy walking distance,the apartment was very nice and had everything we needed. We met Monica for the key hand over,she explained everything about the apartment and secure parking which was very helpful,Thank you Monica we had a lovely stay and thoroughly enjoyed Ipswich. We would not hesitate to stay here again .

The apartment was amazing. TVs in the lounge and both bedrooms. Ben met me to show the parking space. We had bread, butter, milk and prosecco as welcome gifts. There were lots of extras in the bathroom too. Everything has been thought of to make sure guests are comfortable and catered for. Will definitely stay again!

Parking isn’t in the same building as apartment, however can’t be helped. It was however, right across from each other, easy to navigate and a positive it’s free parking.
Lovely apartment, clean, cozy, amazing location and a welcoming vibe. Customer service was great! Very Surprised at how much complementary food and drinks we got. Overall, we all loved our stay!

Fantastic accommodation, finished to the highest quality. The whole apartment was exceptionally clean and there was fresh milk, bread etc provided. Rooms, and bathrooms brilliant. Parking very secure and guaranteed with accomodation. Would highly recommend if looking for place to stay in this area. Communication with host first class.

The area in which the apartment was located was a little run down, which we hadn't expected.
The apartment was bigger than expected and having access to Netflix, which we do not have was excellent. Also the provisions left by the owner were very gratefully received by us. The safe free parking was also brilliant.

There was nothing to dislike.
We liked everything about it, we even had bread, butter and some tins soup, pasta and sauces in the cupboard. We also had toiletries in the bedrooms.

Minor things hardly worth mentioning: No plug socket near a mirror in master bedroom. No instructions for coffee maker. No biscuits! Sofa a little uncomfortable for us oldies!
Clean, tidy, welcome goodies. Chap who met and welcomed us was very helpful.
