Excellent value for money! Also, as well as a very comfortable bed and bath facilities, there was a small lounge area and kitchen!!

Nothing. I loved it!

We had a very pleasant two days at The Walnuts. Our room had a separate bathroom, which was right next to the room, so as good as an ensuite. There was a toaster, microwave, and fridge and a selection of plates, mugs cultlery for your convenience. We were going to the races at Newmarket, which is less than half an hour away. The Riverside at Ely was our other destination, and well worth a visit. Steve was an excellent host, and it was fascinating talking to him about his former career as a jockey, and of course, meeting Purr and Topper his two beautiful horses. Thank you, Steve. I think it should have started not suitable for people with disabilities. The stairs were difficult for myself

Fully equipped to make our own meals, Steve was lovely and very informative , nothing was too much trouble.

Everything you could need for a couple or three nights stay, excellent value for money, very comfy bed, fridge (with a small freezer) to keep my water & beers cool! 👌🏻👌🏻

Nothing not to like.

The house is incredibly unique, with lots of character. The room was completely charming and the bed was very comfortable! Steve was very helpful and welcoming, and the directions provided were excellent.

Amazing staff, Steve went above and beyond to accomodate us for an earlier check in and ensured we had all that we need. The King Suite room was great, really clean and comfortable, with a private bathroom and another private seating area. Really good value for money.

Beautiful old Country House with welcoming hosts who made me feel very much at home. Very comfortable with great facilities in the room and great value

The location was perfect for our stay. Steve is an excellent host, very welcoming and super accommodating. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The bedrooms were clean and tidy with very comfortable beds. The bathroom with very spacious with a good power shower. Robes were provided in addition to shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Our fresh breakfast basket was fantastic value, with absolutely everything we needed. I am more than happy to recommend The Walnuts.

What a fabulous property! It felt like i was staying in a beautiful French chateau in the middle of summer. Hosts were brilliant, so friendly and couldn't do enough. Room was huge and so clean. Having a fridge, microwave, kettle etc was a huge bonus. I loved the character and the peacefulness of the property. Lovely location in a beautiful village. I travel extensively with my job and finding absolute gems like this with lovely owners is the holy grail! Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you for everything.

Beautiful character property, extremely comfortable bed and sofa bed, thoughtful interior design touches, peaceful location, very warm and welcoming hosts. 20 minutes drive from Wicken Fen.

You just need to be a bit careful about the uneven floor in the night.
