An atmospheric building with proper character. The room was lovely and clean and the view out across the bay was breathtaking. Breakfast in the conservatory was a real pleasure.

Toilet/bathroom could be bigger (its an old building though) Would be nice to have bottled water in the room,not sure if you can drink the water from the bathroom. The cooked breakfast was really nice,maybe few more options on the cooked side ? As most have said the stairs are a bit awkward especially with the 2 sets of doors you have to go through if your room is at the top,again its an old building with limited options 😉 (wouldn't say this is a major negative) Even with the above points the stay was excellent and we will be coming back 🙂

Excellent views,the owners/staff really friendly, the breakfast was nice. The bedroom was clean and tidy.

The bathroom was really quite tight when in there.

Liked everything, owner greeted us on arrival and throughout stay was very friendly, everything you could want for breakfast, bed so comfortable. Lovely beach view.

Maybe the bar could have a cocktail menu? I don’t really care as they have all the spirits and you just get to choose (like some all-inclusive abroad hotels) but might be worth having a drinks menu?

I loved the historic/gothic architecture of the hotel. The rooms were cute, clean and cosy. The views were impeccable.

There was no where when I booked that there was not a lift. I have a bad back and knees. My room was on 2nd floor. However as I say the staff were helpful with cases. This should be noted I think

Location, beautiful castle on a cliff. Stunning views. Amazing staff and good. Home from Hone. Trudy and Mike wonderful hosts, very kind and attention. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

This hotel lived up to my expectations.

The views from the room and dining room was amazing. The interior was what I expected stain glass widows wooden panelling was keeping with the age of the hotel.Would have loved to stay longer 1 day was not long enough.Staff were so helpful I would recommend this hotel.

I struggled with the stairs due to mobility issues. 'There is no lift' The bathroom was tiny, however it is a very old building , we stayed in the twin room, all the rooms are different. I think if mobility is a problem it would be worth having a chat with the owners to see which room might be best to suit your needs.

Stunning location a short distance from the town, with fantastic views of the sea, very warm welcome on arrival. superb optional evening meals, we dined in twice and the food was delicious. The evening waiter served everything perfectly and the owner was extremely helpful and very kind. The building layout is unique with lots of wood panelling and some beautiful stained glass windows. In some areas it is a little tired but it's a work in progress.

The Hotel is situated in a prominent position looking over the sea from the main road and has beautiful views. The staff were friendly and the room had a big bed in it, breakfast was good and the Hotel is very clean. We both loved our stay and would go back anytime.
