Every member of staff was happy to help us and had a sense of humour. We enjoyed their company! The evening meal and breakfast were excellent.

There isn’t anything I didn’t like about this property

The property is situated in a beautiful village close to Mount Snowdon, the view is stunning. Some areas of the hotel were dated however, the stay was comfortable and pleasant. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating and welcome note was left in the room upon arrival. We had burgers for dinner, they were delicious

If nit picking to find fault I would say the shower head was a little leaky (did not effect how good the shower was) and it sprayed out of the cubicle and soaked the bathroom floor. The hair dryer is one of those attached to the table ones, so if you have long hair bring your own, but it did the job. And the lighting for doing make up in the morning wasn’t great. Like I said, absolutely nit picking and we had a great stay, we will be back

We arrived late so missed dinner, but everyone eating looked happy and the food looked great, good pint post hike and fantastic location. Staff were friendly and attentive, rooms were clean and great en-suite

Very close to A5 which is very convenient but can be a little noisy during the day.Stayed in room with mountain view which was lovely,only a few cars at night so just closed the windows while sleeping.

Stayed for a week visiting the sights around Snowdonia.Excellent location,plenty of free parking,comfy room with everything provided.Lovely breakfast and evening meal above usual standard for pub food.Helpful and friendly staff.Well stocked with tea coffee and hot chocolate in room.

The television aerial connection was damaged.

Firstly, the staff were very friendly and helpful at check-in, the bar and the restaurant, nothing seemed to be too much trouble, even though we arrived later than we had hoped. The wide choice of breakfast was very welcome. The food at dinner was excellent value for money.

Bit dated but I’m being picky now cause that didn’t really matter to me.

Being 'picky' a larger room. That said the room was clean, serviced everyday and had a good view. Although there was a good selection of burgers a more varied menu, perhaps another fish course, would have been good, The meals were cooked to a good standard and well presented.

The staff made us very welcome, in particular Bethan, the manageress and Tanya. The friendly atmosphere is a credit to Bethan.

Loved the friendliness of the staff, a slight issue with a window we couldn't manage to open was dealt with promptly and efficiently. The food and the bar service was also good. I wanted a can of coke to take with me for my day’s hike, when i learned price was £2:30 just for a can decided it was too pricey. 1st night had excited guests next door whom i could hear quite clearly through thin walls, until midnight.

easy access, staff super friendly and helpful , food great although a bit large a portion size for me. could get a pack lunch ordered the night before if you’re hiking all day.

The only criticism would be that the bacon was a bit cold and dry as if it had been cooked a while and kept warm.

Check in was easy and nice to be greeted by a friendly and cheerful member of staff. Good variety offered for breakfast. The evening meal was excellent particularly delicious was the salmon in lemon sauce. The location is perfect for touring the area and walking from the hotel up Moel Siabod.

Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable rooms. Great bar. Great food. Breakfast and packed lunches are excellent value. The staff are friendly and welcoming. My friend had a swollen ankle from a fall while walking and they gave us ice every time we asked. Great place to stay.
