Tyddyn Bach Barn offers a delightful rural retreat with the perfect blend of tranquil surroundings, comfortable amenities, and excellent hospitality. The location is ideal—peaceful and scenic, yet just a short walk into Betws-y-Coed. The barn is cozy and well-equipped, providing everything needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. It's excellent for exploring Snowdonia and returning to a comfortable, inviting home base.

Great location, just 5 minutes away from city center.

Most part of property was clean but there we webs on most of the corners and behind drawers chests.

Wonderful little cottage/ barn conversion. Had an amazing stay in there. Will deffo be booking again in the future. Lovely location relaxing sitting outside in the evening

Only thing could make better is the fridge. Nothing on the door to stop things falling every time you open the fridge door. Other than that a☆

A comfortable stay, in wonderful surroundings with plenty of parking space.

The property was chosen principally because it was away from the madding crowd of Betws-y-Coed but a short walk over a pedestrian bridge into the centre (to access food, meals, drinks etc). Sadly the bridge and accompanying footpath were closed down (due to structural issues?). Clearly this was not the fault of the property owner, but other like-minded clients might care to take this into consideration.

Locations perfect except for the bridge being closed which isn’t their fault.

Cows come near the property at night and can be loud (we live on a cattle farm so are used to cows) just incase others aren’t used to farm animals

We lived the barn and we will rent it again. Really big bed!

It was very cold, it would have been nice for the heating to have been on when we arrived. Easier access to logs or an option to pre buy them so we could light the fire.

Cosy property close to Zip world and the town centre

We went in December and it was very cold in the property, we needed to turn on the heaters and have the old fire on to air it out and warm up

    Property response:

I’m sorry you found it cold, glad to hear it warmed up with the woodstove on. I hope you still had a great time.

Incredibly convenient location, easy striking distance of so many good walks! Right next to Betws-y-Coed, but feels as though you're in the middle of the countryside.

    Property response:

Thank you. It’s a lovely spot to be.. so pleased you enjoyed yourselves.

The property was beautiful and in a lovely location, we all had a wonderful time, and our children loved exploring the area and cooling off in the stream across the field.

The property was in a great location, very quiet and fantastic views.

My only complaint was the cleanliness, it had been cleaned but it’s very basic. I feel that with regular guests it needs a more thorough clean. Extremely dusty and a previous guests bra was down the back of the sofa.

    Property response:

Sincere apologies, I have informed my cleaner and will monitor this going forward. I hope you had a lovely time in Betws, it really is a beautiful place to visit.

Great place to stay for exploring the Snowdonia national park and Betws-y-coed. Lovely location, good facilities and plenty of parking. Lovely view from the property to sit outside with a beer and have a BBQ!

Not the property's fault, but at the time of our visit (June 2024) the footpath into town was closed and looks like it has been for a long time, with no sign of re-opening. Be aware rather than a 10 minute walk into town it is now about a 30 minute walk down the main road (on a footpath) instead.

Fantastic location to all areas we wanted to see, and great to be so close to Betws-y-coed, which is beautiful. Lovely and comfortable cottage, beds were so lovely! Very quiet location, perfect for relaxing. Fire lovely to have and gave cosy feel. Host super helpful.

Overall cleanliness was great, but areas had been missed- under beds downstairs (kids jumper fell down the side of the bed onto the floor which is the only reason I know, I wasn’t checking! 😂), cupboard near fire, and down side of the sofas. But key areas were clean and lovely, and would stay again- just those extra bits would make it exceptional of us!
