Being advised when checking out would be needing to pay for an extra day for the dog boarding when only stayed 12 hrs. 1 overnight stay and left at 6am,refused additional charge. Wasn't same staff as when checked in at 6pm day before.

Room was dated The swimming pool was fun but all around there are improvements needed Doors dirty and broken Unsightly dirt/mould around the jacuzzi Chewing gum stuck on the side (more cleaning needed)

Its tired. Where the rooms last done when MJ was in a band? Id be gutted if i got a cruise and got it free. Locals though it had shut down.

Swimming pool was dirty with way too much chlorine in it causing our eyes to start to sting.we only had 1 towel for 2 of us for 2 days. I know it's an old hotel but alot of the floor was really creaky. It's was really warm in the room although we had a fan one of the windows was screwed closed so couldn't get much fresh air in

The room was basic and the bed was comfortable but was cleaned by a lovely lady who also doubled up as a waitress in the breakfast room hence the comment of more staff. Most days the room was not serviced until late afternoon.this is not aimed at the staff but the management. We were disturbed on Saturday night by a function that was at the hotel until the early morning and when we complained we were told that the people had paid for the function and the hotel could do nothing about it. When I pointed out that we also had paid for some comfort that fell on stony ground. The hotel on the whole is badly in need of refurbishment.

our first night coincided with a wedding reception at the hotel, and the music was so loud it shook the walls and floor until 1 a.m., which made it hard to rest.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, each equipped with a TV for entertainment.

The first three days was ok after that l couldn't get the staff to clean my room l was looking for clean towels tea milk l had to make my own bed by Friday l had enough l came home l should have come home Sunday the staff said they didn't have enough cleaners to service the rooms l told reception l was leaving Friday they offered me a free breakfast

Really needs to be updated our rooms where awful. My bed was like a rock ,stained duvets old fashioned yellow tinged bath mat.old bath curtain. Old rattly radiators paint, peeling of it. Wallpaper very dated and peeling furniture had seen better days. Curtains old and needed a wash. Old hairdryer with gaffer tape on. Carpet absolutely filthy and stained.all woodwork skirts and door frames heavily chipped and worn. It felt grubby but we just had to put up with it as we had already changed rooms as our original request to be near eachother was accepted and I was told they could accommodate us but didn't. It took me and my daughter 25 minutes to find the room they had put us at the back of beyond so I did complain and we where moved . My husband and sons room was also very dated broken draws wobbly radiator. There bathroom was a bit better than ours. Taps in both the chrome was almost gone. The hotel I could see when being nosy at a couple of rooms that these had obviously been updated. Hopefully this will carry on through the rest of the hotel and they will not just class done up rooms as luxury. It should be standard to be clean and fresh throughout. We did have an issue when my husbands room did not recieve fresh towels and toilet rolls or the bin emptied. He had to go and ask for the toilet rolls we were there for four days. I understand the chambermaid or whatever they are called are busy amd probably poorly paid.I know I have done that thankless job. This is why I always leave my room tidy and I do strip the beds ready for fresh linen for the next people.Iwe always leave our rooms spotless to give a helping hand and I never ask for the rooms to be made up,I make my own bed. we just ask for fresh towels and toilet rolls and the bin emptied which I also Normally have it bagged ready.Also the floors are very creaky I know an old building but I think needs investigating.Our rooms where 207 and 220.our card details where taken incase of any damage??

The staff where helpful, reception and restaurant and bar area tidy. I have stayed at the trouville before a few years ago and we had a nice fair room for the price.Thats why we wanted to go back and we took two of our older kids.

Facilities are quite good, but the pool is small & more than 6 people & it’s packed. Room was dusty & needed a duster thrown round. Lighting wasn’t all working but was almost fixed the following day. Great location, very central.

As above bonus was a small gym and sauna plus very good fan in room not often you get all that in a budget hotel but please upgrade website and frontage sign I will be coming again staff good

The stained carpets and walls make the place look dirty unfortunately.

I read the reviews before booking here so had an idea of what to expect. The hotel is old and the room I stayed in was quite rundown, but we just needed a place to lay our heads at night so that's that. The location is 10/10 though, 4 mins away from the beach if that.
